While an official schedule is yet to be unveiled, Jin will undoubtedly contribute to the Olympic tradition, aiming to "spread the message of 'harmony' and 'peace,'" as stated in a press release. As the eldest member of the iconic K-Pop group, Jin was the first to grace the public's attention last month, following his completion of the rigorous 18-month military service. The remaining six members continue their service duties.

After his discharge, Jin held a heartwarming event where 1,000 lucky fans, selected through a lottery, got a cherished opportunity to embrace their beloved artist. Big Hit Music, BTS's label, disclosed on their fan platform Weverse that this event was curated to fulfill Jin's wish of spending a meaningful moment with his loyal fanbase, ARMY, on BTS's debut day.

Alongside his impending Olympic duty, the singer disclosed to his fans on Weverse, "I'm diligently working on recording new music and filming variety shows. I'm striving to prioritize my artistic pursuits while staying visible to my supporters. The fruits of my labor will be unveiled in a matter of months, so kindly await them with patience."

In October 2022, Jin and his fellow BTS members, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, staged a colossal free concert titled "Yet to Come" in Busan, South Korea. This concert, in support of the Korean city's bid for the 2030 World Expo, drew hordes of ARMY, BTS's devoted fanbase, from all corners of the world. Days after this triumphant performance, Big Hit Music, a subsidiary of Hybe Corp., announced that all seven members would proceed with their military service plans, deeming it "the perfect time" and expressing pride in their service to the nation.

BTS is anticipated to reunite as a complete ensemble in 2025, once all seven members have completed their military service. The 2024 Paris Olympics are scheduled to take place from July 26 to August 11, and Jin's participation in this prestigious event promises to be a captivating spectacle.
