In a recent interview with Parade, Anderson delved into the complexities of being a working mother, admitting, "There's no blueprint for perfection in this endeavor. We'll all eventually stand before our grown children, seeking forgiveness for our imperfections." Her honesty resonated deeply, acknowledging the universal struggle of balancing work and parenting without a definitive 'right' way.

She continued, "It's a heart-wrenching journey, filled with an unshakable sense of responsibility." Yet, Anderson emphasized the importance of open communication with one's children as a crucial step towards navigating these challenges. Despite the weight of responsibility, it's evident that Anderson has nurtured an exceptional family.

In the same interview, Anderson's admiration for her sons shone brightly as she shared that they fully support her career choices. "[My] kids look at me with such wonder and say, 'Mom, you have nothing to apologize for,'" revealing a bond built on mutual respect and understanding. Anderson and her ex-husband, Tommy Lee, are proud parents to two sons, Brandon Thomas (born in 1996) and Dylan Jagger (born in 1997).

In a newsletter post via Yahoo Life!, Anderson further elaborated on the profound nature of motherhood. She penned, "To be a mother is a divine vocation, a sacred trust. We are chosen as guardians for souls yearning to find their way home, tasked with nurturing and shielding them. Motherhood is not a role to be taken lightly; it demands stability, emotional and financial preparedness, and the awareness that once we embrace this title, we are mothers for eternity. We must be ready to raise our children, even if it means standing alone, serving as their steadfast rock and sanctuary. For in our hands, we hold the fragile threads of their lives."
