Alfonso Ribeiro is on the mend following a recent mishap. The 53-year-old celebrity suffered an ankle injury while shooting a dance sequence at Disney World, as documented in a video obtained by TMZ. While hosting an ABC holiday special at the Florida theme park, Ribeiro reportedly stepped onto one of the trolley tracks and accidentally twisted his ankle.
In the footage captured from the incident, Alfonso is visibly leaning heavily on his "Dancing With the Stars" co-host Julianne Hough, clearly hesitant to put any weight on his ankle before a production assistant rushes over with a chair for him to sit down on the street. As he attempts to stretch out his ankle, he appears to be in considerable discomfort. Allegedly, he was eventually moved to a wheelchair, and the audience, undeterred by the accident, showed their support with a heartfelt round of applause.
