This edge-of-your-seat tale unfolds within the confines of a rigid Christian sect, where Rosie (Windsor), a devoted wife and mother, embarks on a perilous journey of liberation and sexual enlightenment after a fateful encounter with Sam (Fee), an escaped convict. Butterfield takes on the role of Adam, while Finneran and Eccleston portray Mrs. and Mr. Phillips, respectively, in this six-episode odyssey produced by Double Dutch Productions, a Banijay U.K. affiliate.

"Rosie resides in a secluded Christian enclave with her husband Adam and daughter, where life follows a prescribed path," the narrative teases. "The unexpected intrusion of Sam, a fugitive from justice, shatters the veil of her world, exposing its true nature and constraints. Could this hidden religious community be harboring darker intentions? As cracks emerge in her marriage, Sam presents himself as a beacon of hope. Yet, with his own sordid criminal past, where does the greatest peril lie—within the cult's walls or with Sam himself?"

Filming has commenced this month in the U.K., under the expert direction of Jim Loach, known for "Criminal Record," and Philippa Langdale, whose credits include "A Discovery of Witches." Iona Vrolyk and Myar Craig-Brown serve as executive producers for Double Dutch Productions, alongside Julie Gearey, while Nick Pitt oversees production. Established by Vrolyk in 2022 with Banijay U.K.'s backing, "Out of the Dust" marks Double Dutch Productions' maiden commission, promising a thrilling ride that delves deep into the heart of human desires and the lengths one will go to find freedom.
