Taylor Swift's Eras Tour made a stunning stop in Miami, where a notable figure amidst the sea of fans caught everyone's attention: Ivanka Trump, daughter of the Republican presidential aspirant, Donald Trump. Over the weekend, Ivanka, 42, escorted her 13-year-old daughter Arabella and a group of friends to the enchanting concert held at the Hard Rock Stadium, sources disclosed to PEOPLE.

This outing transpired mere weeks after Swift, now 34, boldly announced her support for Democratic contender Kamala Harris, inciting a fiery response from Donald Trump himself, who lashed out on social media with the unvarnished declaration, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!"

Ivanka, who shares Arabella with her husband Jared Kushner, had previously expressed her daughter's ardent admiration for the pop megastar. To mark Arabella's birthday in July, a heartwarming gesture materialized in the form of a white heart-shaped cake adorned with the lyrics, "Boys only want love if it’s torture," a poignant line from Swift's 2014 smash hit "Blank Space." Ivanka shared an Instagram snap of the delicacy, sliced and bathed in a crimson hue, mimicking the iconic cake from the "Blank Space" music video, captioning it, "Best cake for my favorite Swiftie."

As the election approached, Donald Trump cunningly appropriated Swift's image for his campaign, disseminating social media posts showcasing merchandise inspired by the Eras Tour. Swift, in turn, was visibly disturbed by this exploitation of her likeness, and in her endorsement of Harris on September 10, she addressed the issue head-on on Instagram.

"Recently, I was horrified to discover that an AI-generated image of me falsely endorsing Donald Trump's presidential bid had been posted on his site. This sparked profound concerns about the dangers of AI and the perils of misinformation," she penned. "Realizing the urgency, I decided to be transparent about my actual voting intentions for this election. The simplest antidote to misinformation is truth."

Swift then declared, "I am casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I'm backing @kamalaharris because she fiercely advocates for the rights and causes I deeply believe deserve a champion. She embodies poise, wisdom, and leadership, and I am convinced that under her stewardship, our nation can achieve greatness amidst calm, not chaos. Her choice of running mate, @timwalz, who has long stood up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF access, and women's autonomy, fills me with hope and admiration."

Her post, signed off with a witty "Childless cat lady" in a sly dig at Trump's running mate J.D. Vance, emerged shortly after the heated presidential debate between Harris and Trump.

The very next day, Trump retaliated during an interview with Fox & Friends, saying, "I've never been a Taylor Swift fan. It was inevitable. But she's deeply liberal, always endorsing Democrats. I suspect she'll face consequences for that in the market."

Swift's Eras Tour, which embarked in March 2023, continues to captivate audiences worldwide, with its grand finale set for December after an astonishing tally of nearly 150 performances.
