On Tuesday, the 44-year-old Kim Kardashian hilariously called out her 69-year-old mother, Kris Jenner, on social media after Jenner showed her support for a rival activewear brand amidst the exciting announcement of Kardashian's upcoming NikeSkims collaboration.
Just a few hours after Kardashian shared the groundbreaking news that her shapewear brand was teaming up with Nike for a spinoff venture, Jenner posted a picture on Instagram, donning head-to-toe Alo Yoga gear, captioning it, “Cozy days in my @alo.”
Kardashian couldn't resist trolling her mom in the comments section, writing, “Did you really have to post this on the same day as my NikeSkims announcement?!?!?!?!” Kris, along with her sisters Kendall and Kylie, are avid fans of the celeb-adored brand, which is often spotted on the reality stars, Hailey Bieber, and others during their pilates and workout sessions.
Others rallied behind the fashion mogul, with one user echoing Kardashian's sentiment, “Did you really have to post this?” while another exclaimed, “YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS KIM!”
Earlier that day, the Skims founder had unveiled the impending partnership through an Instagram post of her own. She captioned it, “Introducing NikeSkims. A fresh new brand arriving this spring, catering to the body-obsessed. Designed to sculpt perfection and engineered for peak performance.”
While details were scarce, with the collaboration set to hit stores this spring, the comment section buzzed with admiration and excitement. “Kim is an absolute hustler,” one person wrote. Another added, “I swear she never sleeps.” A third joked, “Yeah, I’ll take 14 of them, whatever it is!”
According to a press release, the inaugural drop — encompassing apparel, footwear, and accessories — will make its debut in the United States in the coming weeks, with a global rollout planned for 2026.
