Kourtney Kardashian Barker offers a heartwarming peek into her family's festive Christmas celebrations. On December 30, Monday, the 45-year-old co-founder of Lemme shared a series of enchanting photos on Instagram, depicting her blended family on Christmas Eve. Among the precious snapshots were rare glimpses of her youngest son, Rocky Thirteen, aged 13 months, and her eldest son, Mason, who is now 15.
The opening image in Kardashian Barker's photo carousel showcases the reality star and her husband, Travis Barker, 49, standing proudly in front of a shimmering Christmas tree, surrounded by their joyful brood. Barker's son Landon, 21, his sister and step-sister Atiana, 25 (whom he shares with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler), posed alongside Kardashian Barker's son Reign, 9. Mason and his sister Penelope, 12, stood close to Barker, who cradled baby Rocky and planted a tender kiss on his cheek. Kardashian Barker shares Mason, Penelope, Reign, and Rocky with her ex, Scott Disick. Carl Dawson, a family friend of Barker's, was also captured in the photo, while Barker's daughter Alabama, 19, was missing from the frame.
Captioning her post with the whimsical phrase, "'Twas the night before Christmas," Kardashian Barker included additional charming snapshots from their Christmas Eve gathering.
Earlier in October, Kardashian Barker gave her fans a glimpse of her family-oriented fall festivities on Instagram by posting a couple of photos of herself with Barker and their son Rocky. The carousel began with a snapshot of the mother of four holding Rocky's stroller and gazing lovingly at her little one, dressed elegantly in black stilettos, sheer black tights, and an army green bomber jacket.
In the subsequent snap, Blink-182's drummer, Travis Barker, took his turn pushing Rocky's stroller as they entered the Franklin Theatre in Nashville, Tennessee. "Hello October," Kardashian Barker captioned her heartfelt post.
During an appearance on Dear Media's The Skinny Confidential podcast in September, the doting mother opened up about her practice of co-sleeping with all four of her children. "I'm on the craziest hours right now because of our whole summer of touring, but I think one thing is that we sleep with our baby," she shared on the podcast.
"As a mother, I like to do what feels natural and instinctual to me. And that's what it is for me," Kardashian Barker explained about co-sleeping. "And of course, I've read all the benefits and heard all the advantages. It's something that mammals have been doing since the dawn of time."
"I think every person and every child is different. My oldest son slept with me until he was 7 and just naturally wanted to share my bed," she said of Mason. "At a certain time, I would put him to bed in his room, but he would later come to my room."
"That's what my daughter does. She joins me in bed. And then at 7, Mason just stopped and said, 'I'm done with you, I'll sleep in my own room.' My daughter slept with me almost until she was 11," she continued, adding, "My husband loves it too. So we're all aligned in this practice."
