Lindsay Arnold is recuperating splendidly from her breast augmentation surgery. The 31-year-old former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant documented her breast augmentation journey with a series of social media posts on January 14. In a comprehensive TikTok recap the following day, Arnold revealed the entire process, from the pre-surgical preparations to a behind-the-scenes peek at her Instagram Reel, where she danced with her surgeon beforehand. She confirmed the surgery's success, humorously remarking, "Post-surgery Lindsay is quite a sight!" While already at home recovering, she disclosed that while her pain was manageable, she was experiencing some dizziness and nausea.
On January 15, Arnold provided another update on Instagram Stories, noting that her pain levels remained tolerable and that "coming off the anesthesia was tough yesterday... but I slept really well and am feeling good." She further elaborated on her recovery by sharing a heartwarming video of her daughters, Sage and June, keeping her company. "My girls have been incredibly gentle with me; they are the sweetest," she captioned the clip, which showed them cuddling with her.
In December 2024, Arnold announced her plans to treat herself with a breast augmentation as a Christmas gift, following a birthday trip to Mexico with her husband, Samuel Lightner Cusick. "Guys, I'm freaking out, okay? But I'm also super excited," she admitted at that time, acknowledging the myriad of decisions involved and the fact that the choices she made would be hers to live with. "I hope I make the right decision," she said.
She acknowledged that breast augmentation was "something I've always wanted to do" and addressed the "mixed opinions" surrounding such procedures, emphasizing, "If it's not for you, it's not for you." In response to a commenter on TikTok who expressed regret about their breast augmentation on the same day, Arnold replied in the caption, "New Lindsay has entered the chat with zero regrets here."
