Screen Queensland, the alluring location agency, has announced that this action-packed adventure will tap into generous state subsidies offered through the Queensland government's Production Attraction Strategy. Poised to be the most ambitious series ever filmed in the region, it is projected to inject over A$115 million ($76 million) into the local economy, underscoring its monumental impact.

Building upon the success of Legendary Entertainment's blockbusters filmed in Queensland, including "Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire," "Godzilla vs. Kong," and "Kong: Skull Island," "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters" continues the legacy of colossal creatures and epic battles.

The official synopsis paints a thrilling narrative: "Amidst the aftermath of Godzilla's devastating clash with the Titans, which leveled San Francisco, and the stunning revelation that monsters are not mere myth, 'Monarch: Legacy of Monsters' follows two siblings who embark on a perilous journey to uncover their family's enigmatic ties to the clandestine organization, Monarch. This three-generation saga delves into hidden secrets and explores how world-altering events can echo through the very fabric of our lives, leaving an indelible mark."

The second season boasts an esteemed team of executive producers, including Chris Black, Joby Harold, and Tory Tunnell from Safehouse Pictures, who helm the creative helm. Matt Shakman, Andy Colville, and Jen Roskind also contribute their expertise, while Matsuoka Hiro and Arita Takemasa represent Japan's Toho Co., Ltd., the iconic owner of the Godzilla franchise. This partnership stems from Toho's long-standing relationship with Legendary, which secured the rights for "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters" following their successful film franchise collaborations.

"Queensland has witnessed a remarkable year for screen production, and the Miles Government is thrilled to welcome this monumental series to our sun-kissed state," declared Leeanne Enoch, Queensland's Minister for the Arts. "The second season of 'Monarch: Legacy of Monsters' will not only captivate audiences worldwide but also create employment opportunities for approximately 1,000 local cast and crew members. It's a significant boost for small businesses, as they gear up to support the production, from accommodations and medical services to catering, security, transportation, and wardrobe supplies, fostering a vibrant and collaborative ecosystem."
