Tim DeKay and Tiffani Thiessen have officially confirmed their participation in the eagerly anticipated revival of the hit TV series White Collar, as previously hinted by Matt Bomer in November. After years of whispers and speculation surrounding a possible reboot, Bomer revealed to TVLine that there were serious discussions underway to resurrect the beloved drama, which first captivated audiences on USA Network in October 2009 and ran for six thrilling seasons. Playing the charming yet cunning con artist, thief, and forger Neal Caffrey, Bomer shared that while many factors needed to align, there was indeed a blueprint in motion, and they would see what the future held.

Roughly seven months later, during a lively 15th-anniversary reunion panel hosted by our sister site, Variety’s TV Fest, the creator of White Collar, Jeff Eastin, revealed that he was penning the script for a potential revival. Immediately following his announcement, Bomer, DeKay, and Thiessen eagerly raised their hands, signaling their eager participation and unwavering support. Their enthusiasm was palpable as they eagerly expressed their willingness to reprise their roles once again.

However, it was a bittersweet moment as the fourth main cast member of the series, Willie Garson, sadly passed away in September 2021. Nevertheless, Bomer shared with TVLine last fall that the revival outline presented by Eastin honored Garson's significant contribution to the show as the beloved character of Mozzie, and also paid tribute to him as a person. "There's no way I would ever be involved with it again if it didn't," Bomer added, emphasizing the importance of Garson's legacy being respected and honored in the revival.

Echoing Bomer's sentiment, Thiessen spoke at Thursday's TV Fest, expressing that the revival honors Garson with "such sensitivity and such heart." Her words captured the emotional depth and respect that the cast and crew have for their late colleague.

Overall, the script for the potential revival has been described as "fantastic" by DeKay. He enthused at TV Fest that it answers all the lingering questions fans may have after watching the original series and introduces the show to a new audience who may not have seen it before.

Although no specific outlet has been announced for the prospective revival, there is speculation that, given White Collar's ties to Fox Television Studios, it may land on Hulu. The excitement and anticipation surrounding this potential return of a beloved series are palpable, and fans eagerly await further announcements regarding its release.
