Dalah: Death and the Flowers – Season 1 Episode 3 1

After their meeting, Dalah and Sarath embark on a clandestine mission, sneaking into the crime scene. Dalah meticulously examines the floral arrangements and meticulously gathers crucial "evidence."

Elsewhere, Detective Montree harbors suspicions that Risa might not be acting alone, although the basis for his conjecture remains obscure. Concurrently, Ekasit, Ohm's uncle, is engrossed in preparations for Ohm's solemn funeral rites when the hotel manager discloses that Sanchai, the protest leader, had been loitering outside the hotel on the eve of the pre-wedding dinner. Overhearing this revelation, Sarath hastily conveys the information to Dalah.

Acting on this lead, Dalah ventures into the square and spots an intriguing guitar, bearing the name "Kris," in a music shop. Intriguingly, Risa's photograph adorns it.

Meanwhile, Kris' parents engage in a poignant discussion about the incident. Kris' father unveils how Prapha became aware of Kris' mother's absence on that fateful day. A flashback transports us to the day of Ohm's tragic demise, revealing that Kris' mother had been at Dalah's studio, witnessing Kris and Risa in a tender embrace. Shaken to her core, she returned home, clearly troubled by what she had seen.

At Ohm's funeral, poignant memories flood Dalah's mind as she recalls her initial encounter with Ohm and Risa, with Sarath diligently attending to their needs. While Sarath holds a steadfast belief in Sanchai's guilt, Dalah observes a few maids from the family, their tears flowing genuinely over Ohm's untimely demise, hinting at layers of untold stories beneath the surface.

Later, Sanchai is summoned for interrogation, yet he fiercely rejects any accusation of murdering Ohm. The investigation takes an unexpected turn when CCTV footage surfaces, depicting Kris engaged in conversation with Sanchai while seated in his vehicle during the pre-wedding dinner. This discovery ignites suspicions that either Kris and Sanchai could be collaborators or Kris might be orchestrating the crime solo. Montree further speculates that Kris might hold knowledge regarding Risa's whereabouts.

We witness Kris covertly meeting with Risa, revealing their clandestine partnership in some endeavor. Kris mentions that his mother stands ready to assist "them," and it becomes unequivocally clear that Risa is with child.

In Risa's abode, tensions escalate as Prapha maliciously slanders Kris, accusing him of harboring romantic feelings for Risa. Kris counters, implying that there was a hidden, sinister aspect to Ohm that nobody bothered to uncover. Nonetheless, when confronted directly by his grandmother about Ohm's murder, Kris remains tight-lipped and exits abruptly. This confidential information eventually trickles down to Dalah and Risa through a household servant's gossip.

Montree subsequently pays Kris a visit for further questioning, but Kris's refusal to cooperate prompts Montree to seize his phone and dial an undisclosed number. Dalah, sensing the timing's peculiarity, intercepts Risa before she can answer. Montree terminates the call upon confirming that it wasn't Risa on the other end. It transpires that Kris had spoken to Sanchai because Sanchai's shop was mending Kris's guitar.

A flashback unfolds, depicting Kris and Risa locked in a heated argument. Reluctant to marry Ohm, Risa eventually decides to proceed with the wedding upon witnessing her father's joy. Pam intervenes, screaming at Risa not to marry the "jerk."

Elsewhere, Ohm's other niece, Xinxin, contends with Montree, advocating for Kris's innocence. Meanwhile, Sarath discovers hotel employees scrutinizing a mysterious file intended to be unveiled at Risa and Ohm's wedding. The contents of this file remain concealed, yet Sarath forwards it to Dalah while Montree endeavors to ascertain its originator. Ultimately, it is uncovered that Risa had already previewed the file, prompting Dalah to realize why Risa believes Pam to be Ohm's killer—the file contains footage of Ohm raping Pam's partner, Bee.

Another flashback reveals Pam rushing to Bee's side, just in time to prevent her from committing suicide. As Pam hastens Bee to the hospital, the episode concludes with Pam issuing a stark warning to Ohm, vowing that should anything untoward befall Bee, she will take decisive action.
