Published: May 29 2024

Episode 10 kicks off with Rufus struggling to pen a section of his apparent new tome. He mutters that he had hoped locating Viktor Sams would bring him tranquility, but it turned out to be a futile endeavor. Meanwhile, on the ship, bombs detonate, confining their wrath to one end of the vessel. Hilde, alias Viktor Sams alias Kira, urgently informs Imogene that they must flee. A ferry is approaching to evacuate the guests, and the bombs were merely intended to obliterate the server farms. Kira offers to address Imogene's queries and extends a helping hand.

Imogene escapes the ship on a lifeboat, accompanied by Kira and her compatriots. Some time later, Imogene finds herself seated across from Kira on a plane. Kira confesses that she was compelled to abandon Imogene. After encountering Alexandra at the diner, the Colliers attempted to assassinate Kira. It was then that she encountered Andreas, the man who hosted the auction on the boat. He cautioned her that if she wanted to vanish, she couldn't take Imogene along. Hence, they staged the car explosion, and Kira extracted three teeth as proof of her demise.

As Imogene comes to grips with the revelation that her memory of that fateful day was skewed - she never witnessed her mother igniting the car's engine, having already fled the scene before the explosion - Kira explains her rationale. She needed Imogene to witness the explosion to believe her demise. Over time, as corruption and power flourished, Kira transformed her appearance and identity, eventually settling into the role of Viktor Sams. She dedicated her life to combating the billionaire elite. Now, she extends an invitation to Imogene to join her in this crusade.

Exiting the plane, they behold a warehouse bustling with Kira's team at work. Meanwhile, back on the ship, a ferry arrives to rescue all those stranded. Rufus surveys the shore, his heart heavy with concern for Imogene. Eleanor approaches Anna, who declares that she never wants to lay eyes on her again. Sunil and Teddy watch helplessly as their ship sinks beneath the waves.

Imogene confided in Kira, acknowledging her understanding of Kira's actions yet expressing concern over the innocent lives, like Danny's, that had been unintentionally harmed. She pleaded with Kira to abandon her secret life and embark on a new journey with her. Half a year later, the pair found themselves skiing amidst the serene snow-capped mountains, their laughter echoing through the crisp air.

However, their peaceful moment was abruptly shattered when Kira received a phone call at a restaurant, revealing that she had not truly relinquished her role as Sams. Rufus's narration cut through the silence, revealing that Kira had not sacrificed anything for Imogene's sake.

Meanwhile, Leila was preparing to depart, her heart lightened by Anna's signature on the divorce papers. Anna, however, was trapped in a downward spiral, abusing drugs and hallucinating her mother's lifeless body. Lawrence, having lost almost everything, found solace living with Anna and Trip. Teddy, on the other hand, found a new lease on life working in a restaurant. One of her former colleagues whispered a secret: Winnie would contact her when she was ready.

As Kira rejoined Imogene at the table, the latter revealed that she was aware of Kira's continued clandestine activities. Suddenly, Rufus emerged from the shadows, joining them at the table. He revealed the final, shocking secret - the reason why Kira had left Lawrence alive. He explained that Kira had poisoned Lawrence by swapping his protein shake, ensuring he clicked on a specific advertisement, leading him to consume the deadly blue shake - Captionem Blue. His dementia was merely a symptom of the poisoned shake.

Imogene then revealed that while she and Kira had been conversing on the ship, the rest of her group had been busy shifting the servers, thus obtaining incontrovertible evidence of Kira's crimes. Rufus and Imogene informed Kira that they intended to expose the truth. At that moment, Leila rose from a nearby table, revealing that Kira's warehouse was being raided. Teddy and Jules also stood up, revealing that the gun Kira had hidden was empty. Plainclothes officers emerged from the crowd and arrested Kira, bringing an end to her reign of terror.

Later on, Teddy handed Imogene a phone, which rang with Sunil's voice on the other end. His ankle bracelet glinted in the light as he spoke, revealing his incarcerated state. He mentioned his looming trial but promised to reunite with Imogene once he was freed from prison. Imogene glanced at Jules, her heart heavy, and gently placed the phone aside.

Soon after, Jules and Imogene embarked on a skiing adventure, the cold wind whipping their faces as they glided down the slopes. In a moment of spontaneity, Imogene leaned in and kissed him, their breath mingling in the frigid air.

Meanwhile, Leila revealed to Imogene the grim truth about Anna's escalating drug use. She confessed that she had yet to file the divorce papers, leaving their relationship in limbo. Anna was now in the clutches of a girl who freely brought Andreas into their home. Anna declared that she would only communicate with Kira, but Andreas retorted that Anna had no say in their affairs.

A flashback unfolded, showing Anna confronting her mother about Kira's tragic death on the ship. She lashed out, blaming her parents for all the deaths and Imogene's fate. In a fit of rage, Anna grabbed a metal stand and struck Katherine on the head, causing her to fall into the pool and drown. A horrified Kira, then known as Hilde, witnessed the entire scene and offered to shield Anna, but only if she obeyed her every command.

Back in the present, Anna queried Andreas about Kira's demands. Meanwhile, in the mountains, Imogene, Leila, Jules, and Teddy stumbled upon a trail of blood, leading them to a chilling discovery. Among the trees, they found severed legs encased in ski boots, a macabre sight that suggested a new and ominous mystery awaited them.
