Meanwhile, George Jones has reached the antenna. With bolt cutters in hand, he breaches the restricted zone and begins his exploration. These antennas, once vital for transmitting news to Allied Forces during World War II, now stand idle but could hold the key to locating the crucial debris fragments they seek.

Finola and Bryan arrive to lend a hand, with Finola's concerns centered on her father's solo journey across town. However, George is consumed by his fascination with the signal and plans to harness her laptop and satellites to pinpoint the debris he's after, using the Laghari files as a crucial guide. Yet, Finola remains anxious.

The enigma surrounding Maddox's desire for George's demise remains unsolved, but George speculates it stems from a need for control. He sees George as a wildcard, unyielding to manipulation, leading Maddox to potentially order his assassination.

Before Finola and Bryan can delve further, they are summoned back to Langley to investigate the debris incident. Maddox is also present and posits that the debris pieces might have been remotely controlled. This theory is swiftly discarded, however, when Bryan, Finola, and the team step inside and witness the surreal scene firsthand. In the warehouse's impenetrable darkness, they discover Zimmer among several other workers, all seemingly under some form of control. The debris boxes continue their eerie dance, as if tossed through a temporal/spatial rift and ejected elsewhere.

The staff members are escorted hastily to the medical bay, yet inexplicably, they all succumb to a state of shock. Hypnotized, they rise once more and, in eerie silence, parade back into the warehouse. This time, Bryan trails behind, determined to unravel the enigma of their actions. As Lester, one of the workers, reaches out to one of the suitcase fragments arrayed before this enigmatic energy pocket, he is hurled backward across the floor. He too falls under its mesmerizing spell and joins the ranks of his entranced colleagues.

With the energy pockets becoming increasingly unpredictable and the entranced workers perishing, Finola proposes a novel concept to George. They aim to invert the polarity and improvise a makeshift forcefield, aiming to halt the debris' erratic movements. To their relief, it appears to yield results. However, something malevolent stirs in the basement. Finola senses a profound energy surge emanating from below and, accompanied by Bryan, ventures to investigate.

Descending the stairs, the group is met with the sight of an explosion. A colossal fragment of debris is lodged in the ceiling, while on the wall hangs a schematic illustrating weaponized debris fragments. It becomes apparent: Langley intends to harness the debris as a weapon. Though perhaps not altogether surprising, it seems they are endeavoring to craft a bomb. Worse still, George Jones' work is being utilized as the linchpin in this ominous endeavor.

Meanwhile, Anson seizes the chaos as his moment to escape from his confinement. Pretending illness, he demands a visit from the doctor, cunningly orchestrating his escape. With the doctor unwittingly aiding him, Anson deftly slips out of his shackles. Arming himself with a defibrillator, he replicates his previous feat of teleportation, vanishing into the unknown.

As Anson roams free, Bryan is plunged into another vision, convincing him that they should allow the debris to unfold its destiny unchecked. Finola, however, stands perplexed, believing her partner leans too heavily on unguided faith. Yet, it is this very faith that leads Bryan to discover the crucial fragment trapped within the ceiling, completing the debris puzzle. Upon finding it, the debris disintegrates, conjuring a peculiar, radiant white orb of energy. Hovering gracefully, it pauses before Finola's mesmerized eyes before ascending into the sky and vanishing without a trace.

Concurrently, George calls with news, confirming that the piece they seek has been located—in Virginia. Unfortunately, Anson has also caught wind of this development. He hastily meets with his contact and speeds towards Virginia, as the episode draws to a cliffhanger, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats.
