Yeon-u, unfazed, urges Gang-hun to relinquish his meddling.

Elsewhere, Jung-tam's relentless pursuit of Sung-mi unfolds like a romantic comedy gone awry. The gym becomes his stage, where chance encounters with her, though orchestrated, feel serendipitous. He meticulously charts her routines, eager for those fleeting moments when their paths cross.

The aftermath of Yeon-u's near-miss kiss with So-jin ignites a fire of curiosity within her. She confides in A-ri, pondering the possibility of telepathy and embarking on a quest to uncover its veracity. Concurrently, A-ri's volunteering at the local church reveals a poignant backstory of Father Andrea, his childhood marked by tragedy—his father's premature passing and his mother's fiery demise. Flashbacks paint a vivid picture of Andrea's mother, a flower shop owner entangled in an illicit affair.

In a different corner, Mi-eun's latest literary endeavor, a tome on relationships, fails to capture the spotlight amidst the fervor surrounding her polyamorous lifestyle. Criticism rains down upon her, yet she perseveres, striving to ignore the whispers. However, a confrontation with a lecherous fan during a book signing serves as a jarring reminder of the darkness lurking beneath the surface. Despite her swift and assertive response, the encounter leaves her shaken.

Meanwhile, Yeon-u's relentless quest to be near So-jin leads him to go to extraordinary lengths. He offers his assistance to Jung-tam, a mere pretext to secure a glimpse of her. His journey culminates at the research center, where he witnesses a female news anchor physically accosting So-jin, fueled by disappointment over unsatisfactory test results. The scene is charged with emotion, setting the stage for an even more intense chapter in the unfolding tale of DNA Lover.

Yeon-u valiantly rescued So-jin and whisked her away to a karaoke haven, intent on lifting her spirits. Joined by a merry band of friends, they sang their hearts out, reveling in the camaraderie and the delightful sight of a SuperJunior reunion gracing the episode.

As the night drew to a close, Yeon-u chivalrously escorted So-jin home, granting his blessing for her experiments to continue unhindered. Little did he know, their evening would be interrupted by A-ri's arrival, who cordially invited So-jin to dine. Despite A-ri's subtle disapproval, Yeon-u persisted, opting to observe from afar at a separate table, eavesdropping on the ladies' conversation peppered with mentions of Father Andrea.

The following morning, Yeon-u embarked on a thoughtful gesture, visiting a florist to select a bouquet for So-jin. Unaware of her pollen allergy, his gift inadvertently triggered a sneezing fit, miles apart from where he stood.

Arriving at the research center, Yeon-u learned of So-jin's unexpected visit to her alma mater to deliver a speech. Determined to show his support, he made a last-minute decision to attend, much to So-jin's surprise when he appeared, flowers in hand. Curious about the timing of her allergic reaction, she inquired about the flowers, pondering if their connection extended to telepathic senses.

So-jin led Yeon-u to the lab, a nostalgic sanctuary filled with memories of her high school days. She unveiled her time capsule and shared a heartfelt story about a song she had added to an old MP3 player, meant to be shared with her destined partner. Intrigued, Yeon-u begged to listen to the tune together, only to discover the player had long ceased to function. Craftily, he slipped it into his possession as they ventured out for lunch.

At the restaurant, the synchronicity deepened as both So-jin and Yeon-u, almost as if by telepathy, concurred on Mandu soup for their meal. This eerie coincidence further cemented So-jin's belief in their unusual connection. Over their steaming bowls, they delved into the Sang-min incident, with Yeon-u gently dispelling her notions of telepathy, explaining it all as a mere coincidence.

On a chance encounter at a bustling restaurant, Jun-tam crosses paths with Gang-hun, whose mood instantly darkens upon discovering Yeon-u's relentless pursuit of So-jin. Determined to protect her, Gang-hun attempts to warn So-jin of Yeon-u's notorious reputation, cautioning her to steer clear. However, So-jin remains unyielding, convinced of a telepathic bond with Yeon-u that transcends reason. This only deepens Gang-hun's frustration, prompting him to seek solace in a solitary stroll.

Fate intervenes as he stumbles upon Mi-eun, who presents him with a book as a gift. But her mention of her polyamorous lifestyle, likening herself to Yeon-u in their shared capacity to unwittingly inflict pain, offends Gang-hun. He rejects the book with a scowl and continues on his path.

The next day, at work, Gang-hun confides in Sung-mi, seeking guidance on how to shield his friend from potential harm. She wisely advises him to actively intervene and steer So-jin away from dangerous company.

Meanwhile, Jung-tam makes a surprise visit to So-jin's office, his curiosity piqued by her telepathy research. He mischievously suggests a telepathic experiment with Sung-mi, while also delving into the topic of Yeon-u, hypothesizing that he must be romantically involved with So-jin. So-jin swiftly dismisses the notion, clarifying that they are merely collaborating on an experiment.

Elsewhere, Yeon-u receives an invitation to a long-awaited family dinner with his aunt, reigniting memories. So-jin spots him at a flower shop and impulsively proposes a telepathic meeting experiment. To his surprise, Yeon-u agrees, and they select two locations where they will convene momentarily.

The experiment unfolds, with So-jin heading to the serene Han River while Yeon-u ascends the towering Mount Nam. However, their paths diverge, and they inadvertently miss each other. Coincidentally, Gang-hun finds himself standing before So-jin at the riverbank, while Yeon-u encounters Mi-eun atop the mountain, painting a picture of missed connections and unexpected encounters.
