Episode 6 of Griselda kicks off with Griselda and Marta engaging in a wild night of partying. Griselda is seeking solace amidst the overwhelming guilt she carries for murdering Chucho's son. Marta, equally intoxicated, joins in the revelry, and their conversation turns to Rafa's vendetta against Griselda.

Griselda pleads with Marta to intervene, urging her to speak with Rafa and her cousin and persuade them to let the past be. As an incentive, she promises to make Marta her business partner if she succeeds in brokering peace. Marta rises to the occasion, climbing onto the sofa and delivering a passionate speech about her intentions to mediate.

Griselda cheers her on, but the mood quickly shifts when Marta suddenly collapses, unconscious, and slumps onto a glass table. The impact is fatal, and Marta's lifeless body lies before a horrified Griselda. Frantically, Griselda calls Rivi for help.

Rivi rushes to the scene and, together, they frantically attempt to cover up the accident. He warns Griselda that Rafa and Marta's cousin will not take her death lightly, signaling that their association with the Ochoas has reached its end. They must flee and start a new life elsewhere.

Griselda – Season 1 Episode 6 1

Griselda is enraged, but Rivi manages to calm her. Determined not to leave empty-handed, they decide to steal the cocaine stash hidden in Marta's house. As they are sneaking out, Rafa unexpectedly arrives, forcing them to scramble out a back door and dispose of Marta's body in a jacuzzi. The night ends in a chilling mix of desperation, guilt, and a looming sense of inevitable doom.

Griselda rushes frantically back to her home, her heart pounding as she frantically begins packing her belongings. With a sense of urgency in her voice, she turns to her three sons, informing them that they are in grave danger and must flee immediately. The chaos and confusion surrounding them are interrupted by a surprise phone call from Dario, who announces that he's not coming back and has taken their son on a journey away from the world of drugs.

Griselda's anger flares, swearing vengeance on Dario for taking her precious son, Michael, away from her. Without hesitation, the family abandons their Miami home, desperate to escape the clutches of the Ochoa family. Rafa, determined to track them down, offers a hefty reward of one million dollars to anyone who can reveal Griselda's whereabouts.

Meanwhile, Griselda flees to the safety of Long Beach, California, vowing to reunite her family with Dario and Michael. She resolves to be more transparent with her sons, sensing their gradual drift away from her. Dixon confronts her harshly, accusing her of killing Chucho's son. To win back their trust, Griselda reveals her carefully crafted plan to them.

Rivi is tasked with selling the cocaine in small batches, staying under the radar and avoiding the attention of the Ochoas. As they accumulate sufficient funds, the family dreams of relocating to a remote locale where they can finally be free from their pursuers. As a token of her love, Griselda gifts her sons necklaces, promising that they will always stand united.

Despite her desperation, Griselda reaches out to Dario's mother, pleading with her to convey a message of love to Michael. She is certain that Dario has sought refuge with his mother, taking their son with him. Although the mother denies their presence, Griselda remains resolute. She sends her men to the house, determined to retrieve Michael and eliminate Dario.

Rivi manages to sell the first batch of cocaine, but he cannot evade Rafa's relentless pursuit. By the time he sells the second batch, Rafa is already hot on his trail, heading straight for Long Beach. In a desperate attempt to warn Griselda of the impending danger, Rivi robs a bank, seizing a roll of coins. With these coins, he manages to make a call to Griselda, relaying the urgent news.

Upon receiving the call, Griselda's heart sinks. She instructs Rivi to stick to the plan, determined to protect her family at all costs. Before hanging up, they exchange tender farewells, with Rivi confessing that he has always felt a deep connection with Griselda, like lovers in a past life.

Carmen emerges as a valuable asset to the police, particularly in relation to the drug-related charges levied against Griselda. She adamantly maintains her ignorance of the murders, warning June to tread cautiously. Carmen's fear of reprisal from Griselda for her betrayal is palpable, even with the police's protective shield.

However, Griselda anticipates their moves and takes a proactive stance, surrendering to the authorities to evade Rafa and his henchmen. She entrusts Rivi with the welfare of her children and negotiates a deal with the police, as they lack conclusive evidence linking her to the murders. In a sense, as June observes, Griselda triumphs, potentially escaping the graver consequences of her actions.

Griselda shrewdly utilizes the police as a shield against the Ochoas while serving her sentence for two counts of felony possession with intent to distribute. Fortunately, June devises a clever plan, framing Michael as a kidnapped child and accusing Rivi of the abduction. The police issue a nationwide APB for Rivi and initiate a frantic search for Michael.

The strategy pays dividends, and they manage to track down Rivi. He is brought in on charges of bank robbery and the murders. Under interrogation, Rivi betrays Griselda, revealing that he ordered her to eliminate all those she deemed threats. Griselda is devastated but also relieved that Rivi ensured the safety of their children.

The police were elated to have finally apprehended Griselda with the invaluable assistance of a credible witness like Rivi. Little did they know that their triumph would be short-lived! Rivi embarked on a passionate and secretive affair with his handler, throwing the entire case into jeopardy. This sordid phone sex scandal rendered Rivi unusable as a reliable witness, dealing a crushing blow to the police investigation.

Griselda, on the other hand, struck a deal that saw her sentenced to a seven-year prison term, effectively escaping any murder charges. She assured her children that they would be reunited as a family once she was released.

Seven long years later, just before Griselda's anticipated release, June made a visit to her. The news she brought was heartbreaking - Griselda's sons had been attacked. Dixon, shot while walking to his car, Ozzy ambushed in a nightclub, and Uber, fatally wounded in Colombia during a drug deal. Her only surviving son, Michael, had been left in the care of Dario's mother in Medellín.

Griselda was devastated by the news of her sons' fate. June conjectured that Griselda's enemy had bided their time, waiting seven years to inflict the utmost pain, ensuring that she would never be reunited with her children.

The show concluded with an update on Griselda's life after her prison release. She returned to Medellín but was brutally assassinated by an unknown killer on September 3rd, 2012. She perished at the age of 69, her dreams of reuniting with her family forever shattered.
