Episode 6 of "Inventing Anna" kicks off with Vivian and Jack encountering Todd and Mags over dinner, as they delve deeper into Anna's enigmatic past, focusing on an extravagant Moroccan trip where Rachel unexpectedly footed most of the bill. The question lingers: How and why? To uncover the truth, we shift gears and delve into Kacy's perspective.

During a rigorous workout session, Anna receives a call from Alan regarding her impending loan. Amidst the rising tension, she proposes a trip to Morocco and invites Kacy and Rachel to join her. The trio readily agrees, and their adventure unfolds in Africa. They bring along a videographer, Noah, as Anna decides to document every moment, inspired by a Khloe Kardashian video. They visit the same spots Khloe had posted about, even taking selfies at those exact locations.

For the next quarter of an hour, we witness a flurry of massages, indulgent meals, and carefree fun, until Kacy suddenly falls ill due to the food. She's the only one affected, but she believes it's a divine sign, warning her of impending trouble.

Back in the US, Kacy receives a distress call from Anna, claiming she's been mugged and begging for money for a plane ticket—and not just any ticket, but first-class. As Kacy spends quality time with her partner, Anna's incessant calls persist, alleging emergencies and pleading for help. She even asks to crash on Kacy's couch. Kacy refuses initially, but Anna's suicide threats ultimately sway her. However, when her partner, Martin, learns of the situation, he's displeased and walks out.

Now, we witness the true Anna—taking advantage of Kacy's kindness, belittling the dress she had given her, and draining the last drop of her water. As Vivian listens to this revelation, she's stunned and dismayed by the turn of events. It soon transpires that the Moroccan incident captured on film involved security personnel demanding payment from Anna. Unsurprisingly, she's devoid of funds and even dismisses Morocco as a "dirty country."

In the aftermath of this tumultuous drama, Rachel intervenes, offering to cover the trip expenses. Visibly shaken, Rachel expresses her concern, yet Anna remains unperturbed, casually leaving a one-star review on TripAdvisor. She doesn't even bother to acknowledge or thank Rachel for her assistance.

After indulging in an extravagant trip to the gardens, Rachel was plunged into an even deeper quagmire, relying solely on her work card for financial sustenance. Meanwhile, Anna remained a distant observer, while Rachel bore the brunt of the consequences. Her card was rejected, and she struggled desperately to contact American Express for assistance.

Fortunately for Anna, she managed to secure her loan at the eleventh hour, but it came with a catch - the need for an investigator to scrutinize and authenticate her assets. This, however, was a logistical nightmare, and Noah, sensing something amiss, grew suspicious, particularly when he encountered a drunken Anna, swinging tennis balls on the court and stammering her way through an explanation about the loan.

Upon catching up with Rachel, Noah persuasively urged her to pack her bags and flee. Knowing that Anna's funds wouldn't be transferred for "a few days" and having already exhausted her personal savings and work hard-earned resources on this trip, Rachel reluctantly followed Noah's advice and fled, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions and unresolved issues.

Anna, on the other hand, remained at the hotel for another week, during which time she indulgently maxed out Rachel's personal card and charged her Amex to a staggering sum of $62,000. This revelation was shocking, but Neff offered a contrasting narrative, claiming that Rachel had willingly offered her card and enjoyed the splurge. Now, Vivian was left to decipher the truth, leaving a barrage of frantic voicemails for Rachel, determined to uncover the full story behind this tumultuous ordeal.
