The narrative then shifts to the courtroom, where Ramakant Pandit's case is being heard after his voluntary surrender for the murder of SSP Maurya. Ramakant confesses before the judge, acknowledging his guilt for the crime. Panchbhai, the prosecutor, pleads for stringent punishment for Ramakant, arguing that he had planned the murder to further his son Guddu's business interests. The judge orders Ramakant's detention in judicial custody until the next hearing.

As Ramakant is escorted to prison, Guddu and his men intercept the vehicle, eager to speak with his father. Guddu urges his father, a seasoned lawyer, to defend himself in court. However, Ramakant remains steadfast, telling his son that he has made a decision to face the consequences of his actions. When Guddu offers to help his father escape justice, Ramakant dismisses his offer and instructs the officers to take him to prison.

Sharad encountered Madhuri and extended his sincere condolences. He earnestly proposed a partnership in working for Munna's benefit, citing the fact that Munna had been there for him after the loss of his father. Madhuri, however, refused to endorse his criminal undertakings but was open to collaborating in other aspects.

As Sharad was leaving, he inquired about Kaleen's whereabouts, but Madhuri and Anand, his personal assistant, both shook their heads in negation. Meanwhile, Golu appeared, searching for Kaleen on Guddu's behalf. Unexpectedly, she stumbled upon Uma Dutt, a menacing local thug. Horrified, she witnessed Uma's men brutally beheading a teenage boy. Uma warned Golu, instructing her to keep Guddu in check as he was not yet the undisputed ruler of Purvanchal.

Later, Guddu arrived outside the police station to retrieve his father's scooter, as instructed. Upon returning home, he urged his mother, Vasudha, to live with him along with his sister Dimpy, believing they would be safer under his protection.

Vasudha stubbornly refuses to vacate the familial abode. Later in the day, Madhuri encounters Officer Dubey and begs him to devise a plan to eliminate Guddu. She reveals that her mother-in-law, Beena, and her newborn babe are being held captive by Guddu. She implores the officer to keep her out of harm's way and inquiries about Munna's father, Kaleen.

In Mirzapur, Guddu and Golu have usurped the Tripathi family's home, having slain Munna and allegedly the patriarch himself. Beena gazes at her newborn son, pondering over the identity of his father, still a mystery. As Golu returns empty-handed after her search for Tripathi, Beena urges her to regain focus and find Tripathi, ensuring Guddu's coronation as the underworld king of Purvanchal.

Golu informs Beena that thugs from across Uttar Pradesh are set to contest an election for the next leader following Kaleen's demise. She clarifies that since Kaleen's body hasn't been recovered, Guddu wouldn't be considered a usurper to the throne. Beena insists that someone from within is hiding Kaleen and tasks Golu with using all her might to seize the throne in Tripathi's absence.

That night, Golu presses Guddu to forge alliances with other thugs in their vicinity, ensuring his coronation as the leader of Purvanchal's thugs. However, Guddu refuses to attend the thugs' meeting, preferring them to demonstrate their loyalty to him unsolicited. At the gathering, Sharad inflames the handful of thugs and, on his mother's behalf, meets with the mediator of West Purvanchal, Munnawar.

Sharad and Munnawar forged an alliance, designating Sharad as the new leader of Purvachal. The following day, Golu and Brij embarked on a mission to persuade Guddu to attend a gathering of the local thugs from Purvanchal. Guddu staunchly refused, yet Golu, employing her strength and cunning, managed to convince him to make an appearance.

During the tumultuous meeting, Munnawar drew attention to Guddu's absence, despite his alleged involvement in Kaleen's murder. Munnawar and Sharad concurred that Sharad would ascend to the throne of Purvanchal. However, Guddu's unexpected arrival mocked Sharad's incompetence in governing the region. He boldly declared that Kaleen, whose corpse remained undiscovered, was still his usurper.

Sharad retaliated, invoking the deaths of Sweety, Guddu's wife, Bablu, his brother, and Guddu's unborn child, aiming to provoke him. The meeting concluded in chaos, with Munnawar declaring that both Guddu and Sharad must prove their worthiness for the throne.

As Sharad exited, he issued a menacing threat to Guddu. Golu deduced that Sharad's bravado stemmed from his involvement in hiding Kaleen. The episode culminated with Sharad encountering Bharat at the secret hideout where they had concealed Kaleen. Sharad implored the doctor to do whatever it took to awaken Kaleen from his coma.
