At school, Devi informs Ethan that she will be unavailable for the rest of the day due to the College Fair. In a private conversation, Professor Warner cautions Devi about her relationship with Ethan, warning her that being associated with a so-called "bad boy" might tarnish her college application. He expresses concern that Ethan might hinder her progress and urges her to remain vigilant against romantic entanglements that could cloud her judgment.
Elsewhere, Fabiola's mother meets with Professor Warner to discuss Fabiola's college applications. Learning that Devi aspires to attend Princeton, Fabiola had hesitated to apply to colleges out of loyalty to her friend. However, Fabiola's mother insists that she should prioritize her future and apply regardless of Devi's plans.
At the Vishwakumar residence, Paati chauffeurs Kamala home after her Lasik surgery, while Nalini leaves them to fend for themselves as she heads to work. Meanwhile, in Sherman Oaks, Devi and Fabiola eagerly anticipate chatting with their favorite college representatives. Devi confides in her friends about Professor Warner's skepticism regarding her relationship with Ethan.
Eleanor and Fabiola dismiss Ethan as a cad, merely good for Devi's amusement, but she steadfastly refuses to heed their warnings. Professor Thompson informs Paxton that they are the only faculty members left behind after school to oversee the college fair, expressing dissatisfaction with the seniors' unkind behavior towards her. Devi attempts to engage the Princeton representative and is delighted to find that she is an Indian woman named Akshara.
However, noting the long queue waiting to speak with Akshara, Devi impulsively cuts the line and begins boasting about her achievements. Akshara disapproves of Devi's disruptive behavior and abruptly ends the conversation. Devi offers to rejoin the queue, but Akshara politely declines. In the line for the Columbia University representative, Ben becomes increasingly anxious and suffers a panic attack. Devi abandons the college fair to meet Ethan and shares her encounter with Akshara.
Ethan, driven by a desire to teach Akshara a harsh lesson for harming Devi, volunteers to slash her car tires. Meanwhile, Devi returns to the fairground, her heart pleading for forgiveness, and implores Akshara to grant her a fresh start. Akshara, softened by the plea, agrees to reconcile over lunch, and the two slowly mend their fractured relationship. Unbeknownst to them, Ethan sneaks in during their lunch, lavishing Devi with praise, his duplicity cloaked in charm.
At home, Kamala finds herself alone with Len, while Paati is away. Initially, Kamala's bond with Paati's beau blossoms, but suspicions soon creep in, convincing her that he is betraying Paati with another woman.
At school, Ben seeks solace in Margot's presence, hoping to calm his turbulent emotions. Elsewhere, Fabiola informs Eleanor that she has already engaged with Harvard and Yale, leaving only Princeton's brochure to collect to placate her mother's expectations. During a chat with Akshara, Fabiola discovers that Princeton boasts an exceptional robotics program, piquing her interest.
Ben, summoning his courage, engages with the Columbia University representative and finds the interaction incredibly rewarding. Meanwhile, Devi and Ethan share a tender moment, which is abruptly shattered when she learns that Ethan had stolen Akshara's wallet. Justifying his actions by claiming Akshara deserved it for hurting Devi, Ethan's rationalizations fail to sway her. Devi snaps out of her trance and breaks up with him, her resolve firm.
Determined to rectify the wrong, Devi returns Akshara's wallet, confessing Ethan's theft and apologizing for his behavior. She also reveals their breakup, earning Akshara's admiration for her honesty, despite the potential consequences.
At school, Paxton vents to Trent about being trampled upon by seniors who once revered him during his senior year. Empowered by Trent's encouragement, Paxton confronts one such senior, issuing a stark warning and threatening repercussions if he's troubled again.
Concurrently, Ben, Devi, and Fabiola submit their early college applications, their futures hanging in the balance. However, the episode concludes on a tense note as Fabiola's mother forces her to submit an application to Princeton, adding another layer of complexity to her college journey.
