As the leader, Ed orchestrated a daring raid on a French merchant vessel, guiding his crew with unwavering resolve. Aboard the ship, he imparted his knowledge of piracy to Stede, while Stede reciprocated with a lesson in refined dining etiquette. However, when the French captain mocked Ed's humble origins, it sparked a fiery rage within him.

Ed's mind drifted back to his childhood, recollecting the moment his mother presented him with a sliver of red silk, a prized fragment she had obtained from a wealthy family. A young, inquisitive Ed had questioned why they couldn't possess such luxurious items, to which his mother had gently explained that God decides who deserves what, and that they were not destined for such opulence.

Returning to the present, Frenchie revealed that he had stumbled upon an invitation to a lavish party during the raid. Ed immediately declared their intention to attend, seizing the opportunity to put his newly acquired etiquette skills to the test.

Meanwhile, Izzy stumbled upon Lucius and Black Pete indulging in a passionate embrace, shirking their duties. Frustrated by the crew's lax attitude, Izzy chose Lucius as a scapegoat, assigning him menial tasks. However, Lucius cunningly avoided his obligations by charming Fang, who had been tasked with overseeing him.

Izzy, desperate to coerce Lucius into working, resorted to blackmail, threatening to reveal his tryst with Pete. But this tactic backfired, as Lucius and Pete's relationship was not exclusive. Moreover, Lucius had learned of an embarrassing incident where Izzy had succumbed to seasickness, giving him leverage to counter Izzy's threats. Ultimately, Izzy had no choice but to retreat, defeated.

Stede and Ed arrived at the lavish party, accompanied by Oluwande and Frenchie, who had transformed themselves into the guise of an Egyptian prince and his esteemed viceroy. Oluwande and Frenchie cunningly duped the aristocrats, luring them into a bogus investment scheme and leaving them penniless. Ed, on the other hand, quickly captivated the hearts of the partygoers with his charm, but his clumsiness in handling the cutlery during dinner left them disillusioned.

With Frenchie's assistance, Stede managed to uncover all the sordid secrets of the aristocrats through their servants and, in a daring act of retribution for Ed's humiliation, he revealed them to the entire gathering. The shocking revelations of adultery, fraud, and incest sent the aristocrats into a frenzy, resulting in tumultuous fistfights and fires erupting across the ship.

In the midst of the chaos, Ed, Stede, Frenchie, and Oluwande made a swift escape on a rowboat. Oluwande revealed to Frenchie that he had bestowed the stolen funds upon the aristocrats' servants, who had fled in their own dinghy, intent on refining and perpetuating the scheme.

As the rest of the crew retreated to their slumber, Ed and Stede shared a heartfelt moment on the deck of the Revenge. Stede complimented Ed on the exquisite silk piece he had received from his mother and, with a deft fold, tucked it neatly into Ed's breast pocket, affirming that he wore finery with such elegance.

Meanwhile, in the court of King George, Admiral Chauncey Badminton, the doppelganger of Nigel, was granted the authority to unleash the full might of the English Navy in pursuit of his brother's murderer.
