Tehran – Season 1 Episode 8 1

Faraz finds himself in a tense interrogation, seeking answers about the elusive Israeli agent. Ali, reluctant to divulge information, is compelled to reveal the betrayal at the hands of Mohammed. Unable to bear any further revelations, Ali dismisses Faraz from the vehicle, his exit punctuated by a heavy sigh. However, Ali keeps his promise, sending Faraz a vital piece of intelligence via text, ensuring the latter is not left in the dark.

Yael, with a sense of urgency, briefs Tamar on a daring mission: infiltrating the air base, a task fraught with peril but necessary to preserve Milad's life. This slender thread of hope sustains Tamar as she delicately broaches the subject with Milad, their conversation teeming with tension and desperation. Together, they hatch a plan, leveraging a fingerprint scanner as their key to breaching the base's defenses.

Just before they embark on their journey, Mohammed's stern words resonate, a parting shot aimed at Milad. The trio then converges at Milad's apartment, their focus laser-sharp as they hack into the computer system, their fingers racing against time to unlock its secrets. Finally, they triumph, their fingerprints digitized for future use, a testament to their resilience and cunning in the face of adversity.

As Faraz assumes the role of a distraught father, he approaches their destination, his heart heavy with urgency. Inquiring about Zahra's whereabouts, he finds sympathy in the eyes of a young girl, who reveals that she hasn't laid eyes on Tamar in two days but senses her presence lingering nearby. This tender exchange propels Faraz and the young girl towards the bedroom, where the girl requests a key to unlock the door, their mission ticking away with each passing moment.

Mohammed keeps a vigilant watch as the duo hastily jot down crucial information, time slipping through their fingers like sand. Suddenly, the trio is compelled to abandon their task, fleeing just as the encryption process threatens to reach completion. Faraz, however, manages to infiltrate Milad's room, leaving his companions to safety, where he spies a fingerprint scanner and a Post-it note, the latter of which he pockets as a clue.

Dialing into the IT department, Faraz inputs the error code, and like a puzzle piece falling into place, it reveals a connection to Abadil Air Base. Without hesitation, he sets out to unravel the mystery. The clock ticks down mercilessly, forty-two minutes until the planes breach the border's threshold.

Meanwhile, Tamar, disguised as an Iranian soldier, guides their vehicles towards Yael's lair, every sample intact and their plan intact. At the entrance, Tamar and Milad outwit Mohammed, the fingerprint scanner betraying him as his print fails recognition. Inside, Tamar's resolve solidifies as she directs Milad towards the emergency exit, offering him not just an escape but a gift—the very one he had bestowed upon her, now a symbol of hope and freedom.

With Milad presumed to be safe, at least for the moment, Tamar transforms seamlessly, adopting the guise of a diligent cleaner. She dips her mop into the bucket and begins vigorously scrubbing the floor, her movements taking her ever closer to the heart of the server room. As fate aligns, a worker strolls into view, unwittingly presenting Tamar with her long-awaited opportunity. With precision and stealth, she navigates to the crucial column, her mission now within reach.

Meanwhile, outside the confines of the building, Faraz storms up to the air base, his authority unyielding as he commands them to grant him access. His reason remains shrouded in secrecy, yet he drops a tantalizing hint—a member of the esteemed Revolutionary Guard stands before them. The tension mounts for Tamar as she fights against the closing walls of her predicament, but somehow, against all odds, she finds a way to slip through the cracks.

However, her relief is short-lived as Mohammed intercepts her, Milad's absence a glaring omission. Suspicion burns bright in his eyes as he initiates an immediate investigation.

Faraz, ever the observant, spies Tamar's escape from the building's clutches, her form merging into the car alongside Yael. Without hesitation, he springs into action, his pursuit relentless as he races after them while simultaneously alerting Ali to their whereabouts. The stakes are high, and Faraz's knowledge of Tamar's location is a game-changer.

As Faraz hurtles towards the scene, Tamar, her fingers dancing across the keyboard, establishes a tenuous yet triumphant connection with the air base's server. With a decisive click, she seizes control, her actions reverberating across the Iranian border as it seals shut, a testament to the success of their daring mission.

Yet, the complexities unravel beneath the superficial simplicity. Far from merely penetrating the server's defenses, they had unwittingly stumbled upon a decoy, a trap the Iranians had cunningly set for them. The Iranians, with a watchful eye on their radar screens, observed the planes' every move, but little did they know that Yael, the very one they thought was their pawn, had spun the game on its head.

With a pistol aimed steadily at Tamar's heart, Yael's voice echoed through the tense air, ordering her to step away from the crucial laptop. Just as Yael's focus wavered with the distant echoes of gunfire, Faraz, a dark figure emerging from the shadows, pulled the trigger, ending Yael's treachery abruptly. Tamar, hidden in the shadows, bided her time, striking back with precision, felling Faraz with a well-placed shot.

As Yael's body lay still, Tamar swiftly contacted the Mossad, her voice urgent as she disclosed the dire situation—the planes, visible on Iranian radar, were marching blindly into a trap. Turning her gaze back to Faraz, now helpless on the ground, Tamar's finger tightened around the trigger, her eyes locked onto his. He, in a desperate attempt to sway her, spoke of Mordechai's nobility, his voice tinged with plea, begging her to spare his life, reminding her that his wife's fate hung in the balance.

Exiting the chaos, Tamar's heart raced as she stumbled upon Mohammed, a bullet piercing his throat, a grim testament to the escalating violence. Above, the skies erupted into chaos as Iranian fire rained down, while below, the Mossad operatives, Gorev among them, watched in stunned disbelief. Amidst the pandemonium, Milad and Tamar soared into the sky, their escape a glimmer of hope amidst the carnage.
