Unperturbed, Torbin remains silent, neither calling for assistance nor breaking his concentration to address the guards who arrive shortly after, searching for the intruder.

Meanwhile, Osha, Mae's twin, stands unfettered this time. She boasts of her unparalleled flexibility, surpassing even the capabilities of a droid in the outer reaches of a ship, which explains her role as a meknek. As Sol emerges and converses with Yord, warning him against fear clouding his judgment, Sol remains convinced that Mae and Osha are indeed sisters.

Upon learning from Vernestra that Mae has struck at a Jedi Temple, Sol decides to lead a team, including Osha, to investigate.

Mae appears before a mysterious figure named Qimir in a bustling shop, demanding the concoction of a deadly poison. She intends to strike down two more Jedi after Torbin and it seems even a Wookie is on her hit list. Qimir, sensing an opportunity, believes Torbin's defenses are not invincible and offers a cocktail that should serve as the fatal blow.

With the poison in hand, Mae infiltrates the temple once again, while Sol and his companions interrogate the guards outside. Torbin, who has not uttered a word in a decade, awakens as Mae reveals her vial of poison. He claims he has been anticipating this moment, apologizing for his past actions while maintaining they were justified. Without hesitation, he drinks the poison, sealing his fate.

Amidst the turmoil, Osha trailed Mae's spectral form through the labyrinthine hallways, until she stumbled upon Torbin's lifeless body, accompanied by the vial of poison. Instantly, the guards' suspicion fell upon Osha, despite the impossibility of her procuring the poison or slaying Torbin in such a brief span. Yord, who had been shadowing Osha, stood by her side, vouching for her innocence. Sol examined the corpse and discerned that Torbin had fallen victim to Bunta, a deadly poison originating from Mae and Osha's homeworld, further deepening the mystery.

Determined to uncover the truth, they devised a ruse to coax a confession from the apothecary. Since Qimir was not their regular contact, they armed Osha and sent her alone into the shop, while they recorded the conversation through Pip, hoping to catch the perpetrator red-handed. Osha's presence elicited a confession, and before long, the Jedi stormed in, seizing the moment.

Qimir revealed that Mae sought vengeance against four Jedi. Aware of Mae's imminent return, Sol set up a perimeter to monitor the area. While Sol imparted words of wisdom to Osha, warning her against the seductive path of revenge that leads to the Dark Side, Mae appeared at the shop's threshold.

As Mae attempted to enter, Sol intercepted her in the midst of the bustling street, and the duel unfolded with no interference from the indifferent passersby. Yord observed the spectacle from the balcony. Sol sought to uncover Mae's master's identity, but the conversation shifted to Osha, prompting Yord to intervene in the fight. However, Mae unleashed a ground-shaking blast and enveloped the scene in a smokescreen, vanishing into the night.

Osha struggled to land a blow on Mae as she fled in a speeding vehicle, while Sol pondered their next move. Abruptly summoned back to the Jedi Temple, he remained stationed outside the shop, only to witness Mae's return. She conversed with Qimir, deciding to journey to Khofar, the abode of Kelnacca, a Wookiee Jedi who was Mae's next target.

The scene shifted to Khofar, where we encountered the Wookiee in person, marking the climax of this episode.
