The Boys - Season 4 Episode 6 1

In parallel, The Boys and Daphne honor Hughie Sr.'s wishes, scattering his ashes at the filming locations of Maid In Manhattan. Kimiko's heartbreak is palpable as she grieves Frenchie's surrender, done without informing her, and his subsequent refusal to see her.

Firecracker takes Cameron Coleman's place on VNN, her bizarre segments leaving MM struggling to meditate. His concentration is shattered by A-Train's panic, revealing that Coleman's death was a setup to frame him as the leaker. MM attempts to soothe A-Train, but his own panic mounts as A-Train spills the beans: Homelander is amassing a Supe army.

Tek-Knight, a B-list millionaire Supe with super senses, has aligned himself with Sage. He hosts a Federalist Society Party at his estate, and MM plans to infiltrate it to uncover Sage's scheme. Despite Annie's urging for Hughie to rest, he insists on joining the mission. Their entry is secured through Webweaver, a B-list Supe parodying Spiderman, who possesses an invitation to the party.

The Boys devise a sordid plan, supplying Webweaver with drugs in exchange for insider information. MM reluctantly administers a butt injection to the Supe, and once he loses consciousness, they steal his suit. Hughie transforms into the lanky Webweaver, tasked with bugging the venue and luring Tek-Knight to the stables, where Annie, Kimiko, and MM await.

Unbeknownst to them, Tek-Knight's guest list is a who's who of the nation's billionaires, government officials, Vicky, Homelander, Ryan, Sage, A-Train, and Ashley. Vicky struggles to endure the racist and sexist remarks, even fleetingly imagining detonating a bomb. As she ponders the worth of the event, Sage's plan comes to light: she possesses the knowledge to cure cancer, reverse global warming, and more, but lacks the power to execute her plans. Her sister's death from cancer, as doctors ignored Sage's curative research, underscores her desperation. Sage aims to manipulate these influencers and utilize them to further her agenda.

Elsewhere, Black Noir II finds himself disillusioned with his role, as nobody takes him seriously or offers guidance on how to play his part. Fed up, he plans his exit, which causes Deep profound concern that Homelander may eliminate him. In an attempt to aid Noir II, Deep divulges all he knows about the original Noir's penchant for bloodshed. He also confesses that while people mock him, they cease when he lays them low, concluding his monologue with the emphatic declaration that violence is the ultimate power.

At the lavish party, Hughie's arrival is brief as Tek-Knight whisks him away to his secluded sex chamber, devoid of network connectivity, leaving Annie distraught. As The Boys embark on a rescue mission for Hughie, the hapless man realizes that Webweaver's invite was contingent on him being Tek-Knight's "sidekick," catering to the masochistic tastes of the tech tycoon and Ashley, the dominatrix. Hughie could easily escape by uttering Webweaver's safe word, but alas, he is unaware of it.

Outside, Homelander insults Firecracker, who attempts to regain her composure in the bathroom. She unexpectedly encounters Annie, who offers a heartfelt apology. As Firecracker's defenses weaken, Annie surreptitiously drugs her.

Kimiko and MM stumble upon Sage, who attempts to manipulate MM by his daughter. However, MM shoots her in the head as she rushes to the intercom, overwhelmed by stress and collapsing unconscious. Desperate, Kimiko begs A-Train for help, and he rushes MM to the hospital. A young Black child notices this act of kindness and smiles at A-Train.

Meanwhile, Butcher's condition worsens as he encounters Becca, who chastises him for harming Sameer and abandoning Ryan. Butcher claims he's saving the world, but Becca counters that he's merely replacing one Homelander with another—Ryan. Their confrontation is interrupted by Joe, who reveals that war transformed him, leaving him with a penchant for violence, even if he pretends otherwise. He challenges Butcher to reveal his true self.

Back at the party, Sage is incapacitated with brain damage. Left with no choice, Homelander explains their scheme, urging everyone in attendance to invoke the 25th Amendment and replace President Singer with his VP, Vicky. Yet, the officials remain unconvinced, questioning how Homelander would handle opposition from various departments. Homelander stumbles in his response, until Vicky intervenes, assuring them that under her presidency, they can indulge in whatever whims they desire. The crowd cheers, and Vicky mistakenly assumes this is all part of Sage's cunning plan, blissfully enjoying her cupcake.

Down in the depths of the dungeon, Tek-Knight perceived a profound horror emanating from Hughie, perplexed as it contradicted Webweaver's penchant for bondage. He persistently probed for the safe word, and when Hughie stumbled with the incorrect one, his mask was stripped away, exposing his vulnerable state. Tek-Knight rejoiced in chaining Hughie, intending to disfigure and violate him before summoning Homelander. Yet, before his sinister plan could unfold, Annie and Kimiko arrived, swiftly incapacitating Tek-Knight.

The torment they inflicted upon him yielded no significant information, as Tek-Knight's masochistic nature was unfazed. However, they struck upon a brilliant stratagem—donating his vast fortune to charity. This stroke had Tek-Knight crumbling, spilling the secret that Homelander and Sage had intended to utilize his prisons as internment camps.

With all the secrets laid bare, Tek-Knight's loyal butler, Elijah, grasped him in a chokehold. He had been a steadfast supporter, but the prospect of prison camps drew a definitive line. Elijah vowed to stage Tek-Knight's death as an accident and disclosed that Webweaver's safeword was "Zendaya."

In the aftermath of this turmoil, MM awoke in the hospital, realizing he had succumbed to a panic attack. Kimiko, adrift and with no destination, continued her vigil for Frenchie. Hughie and Annie eavesdropped on the bugs, pondering if Vicky was privy to the prison camp scheme. Hughie's composure shattered as the sexual assault and his father's demise overwhelmed him.

At Vought, Firecracker informed Homelander that Annie had infiltrated the compound and likely terminated Tek-Knight. Homelander suspected her as the leak, believing she facilitated Annie's escape. Nonetheless, Firecracker delivered an impassioned speech, declaring that she would remain loyal to him as he had given her everything. To prove her loyalty, she self-administered drugs to lactate breastmilk, offering it to Homelander.

Meanwhile, Butcher relentlessly prodded Sameer, who confessed that if he crafted a virus potent enough for Homelander, it would become airborne. Imaginary Becca pleaded with Butcher to desist, warning that it would decimate innocent Supes, including Ryan, Annie, and Kimiko. Annoyed, Butcher finally erupted at her, shocking the illusionary Becca.

It transpired that Butcher had never rescued Joe; he was merely a figment of Butcher's imagination. The real Joe perished during that final tour, and since Season 4, Butcher had been hallucinating his presence. At the climax of The Boys Season 4 Episode 6, Joe rationalized that he killed Ezekiel for Butcher, thereby becoming Butcher himself—both sharing the same malevolent objective: to eradicate all Supes.
