Stacy's encounter with the elusive Waltrip leaves her frustrated. She realizes there's little she can do to implicate him in Roxy's case, and he knows it too. For their casino aspirations, Jimmy agrees to partner with Dwight and Mitch. At Pete's wake, Chickie outlines plans to usher in a new era, vowing to eliminate Dwight, The General, and establish a new order. When Johnny, a capo, dares to intervene, Chickie threatens him with dire consequences. His ascendancy as the new leader casts a gloomy shadow over Dwight's future.

In a meeting between the ATF and the FBI, Stacy learns of Margaret's involvement, a revelation that shocks her. Yet, she redirects the focus back to the Black Macadams. Tyson's departure from his father's home leaves the latter torn. They bid each other farewell, with Tyson's father urging him to be cautious. Tina begins to warm up to Dwight, hinting at a possible visit to Tulsa. Margaret's ex-husband, Brian, confronts Dwight, cautioning him against exploiting Margaret for financial gain. Unfazed by Dwight, he vows to keep a watchful eye to ensure Margaret's safety.

Waltrip's scheme to bribe cops and arrest Manfredi backfires. When he attempts to eliminate Manfredi in prison, the latter warns him of the fatal consequences of making an enemy. Stacy assures her therapist that she's severed ties with Dwight, whom she says "reminded her of her father." Dwight receives a call from Chickie, who pretends to offer a truce. He promises to visit with his men soon, but off the phone, Vince praises Chickie's acting skills, confirming their sinister plan.

Clara's concerns about Armand's association with Dwight persist. Their argument culminates in Armand declaring that they're not moving, prompting Clara to threaten divorce if he doesn't change his stance. Stacy meets Dwight and advises him to distance himself from Waltrip, whose influence in the city has waned after raids and FBI scrutiny. As they discuss, Stacy catches sight of Waltrip and his lieutenant tailing them. Gunfire erupts, and in the chaos, Waltrip loses his man but manages to wound Stacy. The police arrive, and Manfredi is taken in for questioning, vowing to eliminate Waltrip at the next opportunity.
