In the year 1982, a youthful Rebecca busily prepared cookies in the cozy confines of her home. Suddenly, her brother Gabe arrived, accompanied by Cam, his nose stained with blood. Curious about Gabe's condition, Cam assured Rebecca that she would handle the situation. From afar, Rebecca heard Cam's encouraging voice, attempting to cheer up Gabe with promises of a fun night at the dance and urging him to brighten up.

Eager to assist, Rebecca offered Cam a dress to wear at the dance. However, Gabe interrupted, seeking help with his tie, only to be met with a slammed door and Rebecca's complaints about his constant intrusion on their time together. When Gabe reappeared, Rebecca lashed out, demanding he leave them alone as she longed for some precious moments with Cam. Her jealousy over Gabe and Cam's close friendship overwhelmed her senses.

Under the Bridge – Season 1 Episode 6 1

(I'm beginning to grasp why the present-day Rebecca harbors such profound regret over her brother. This would indeed be a haunting memory to carry throughout one's life.)

While Rebecca held a soft spot for Cam, she also realized she had been unduly harsh on Gabe. As she scanned the house, Rebecca lost sight of both Gabe and Cam. Just as she pulled her cookies from the oven, Cam entered the kitchen, admitting she too could not locate Gabe. Overhead, a helicopter hovered near the river, and suddenly, the doorbell rang. Two young boys arrived, breathlessly informing Rebecca that Gabe had fallen into the river.

Meanwhile, Cam and Scott (Lily Gladstone and Daniel Diemer) were on a hunt for the elusive Warren (Javon Walton). Their investigation quickly revealed that no one seemed to know his whereabouts. As they exited the First Nation residential housing unit, Scott questioned whether mentioning the racial issue at the press conference had been a wise decision.

Rebecca (Riley Keough) awoke in the warehouse, finding Warren across the room. Both had finally come down from their drug-induced haze. With her father's birthday looming, Rebecca needed to return home. She inquired if Warren required her to call someone, but he dismissed the idea, insisting that no one would worry about him. Despite her reservations, Rebecca decided to bring Warren back to her parents' house.

Warren bemoaned his lack of appropriate attire for the dance he had promised to escort Samara (Isabella Leon) to, while Rebecca inquired if he had shared any details about Kelly with anyone else. It was during this conversation that the damning truth emerged, as Rebecca discovered that Warren had not just witnessed the attack on Reena, but had actively participated in it.

In a moment of compassion, Rebecca offered Warren a suit from her brother's wardrobe to wear to the dance. As he tried it on, she revealed that Cam was an old friend and confided that if she took Warren to him and he spoke the truth, Cam would be able to offer assistance.

A month prior, Dusty (Aiyana Goodfellow) and Reena (Vritika Gupta) were busy filming a rap video filled with insults and degrading remarks aimed at Kelly and Josephine (Izzy G. and Chloe Guidry). As Reena seemed to have found a genuine friend in Dusty, their fun was interrupted by the arrival of one of the social workers from Seven Oaks, who requested that Reena accompany her.

In the office, Reena was confronted with her confession about falsely accusing her father. The social worker demanded to know the reason for her lies and informed Reena that she could no longer stay at Seven Oaks.

Later, Cam met Rebecca for a drink, and the police officer shared the information she had received from Dusty about the incident at the shipyard. Rebecca revealed to Cam that she had crucial details about Kelly Ellard's involvement in the second attack on Reena, with Warren as a witness. Cam informed Rebecca that the girls had falsely accused Warren of killing Reena, resulting in a warrant for his arrest.

Rebecca was devastated, realizing that Warren would be unfairly scapegoated while Kelly escaped the consequences of her crime. Meanwhile, at the grocery store, Kelly, Josephine, and Dusty were busy stocking up on supplies to flee from the police. Kelly and Josephine's encounter with Suman (Archie Panjabi) was awkward, as Kelly offered her condolences.

After returning home, Suman recounted her encounter to Raj (Anoop Desai) and Manjit (Ezra Khan). Raj advocated for taking action, but Manjit cautioned against rash decisions. Suman believed that if Kelly confessed, it might ease the pain, but Manjit knew that the trauma would never truly fade.

Kelly, Josephine, and Dusty are all in a flurry of excitement as they prepare for the dance at Kelly's cozy abode. Suddenly, Kelly whispers to Josephine, revealing that they have a secret concoction for the journey ahead to Mexico - a drink subtly tainted with rat poison.

Meanwhile, Raj and Suman are on the hunt to confront Kelly and her companions. Raj's gaze suddenly falls upon a familiar spot, and his heart skips a beat. This is precisely where he had bid farewell to his beloved niece on the fateful day of her demise.

Reena, picked up by her kindly uncle at Seven Oaks, finds herself in a candid conversation. While her uncle expresses empathy, he's also puzzled by her cryptic words about her father. Raj, in a moment of candor, tries to comfort his niece, explaining that life, though challenging, will eventually lead her to a brighter future where she'll forget the hardships. This tender exchange leaves Reena emotionally vulnerable. She confides in Raj her desire for Josephine to suffer as much as she does. Later, Reena whispers her scheme to Dusty - stealing Josephine's address book and exposing her true nature to the world.

Raj, deeply aware of Reena's vengeance, feels like a silent accomplice to her plight. He doesn't want to repeat the mistakes of the past. Feeling abandoned and helpless, Raj wonders aloud why God, if he truly exists, seems to abandon them in their hour of need. With heavy hearts, the two decide to return home.

Warren, in a panic, calls Samara to inform her that he cannot attend the dance. Aware of the warrant out for his arrest, he braces himself for Samara's anger as she accuses him of being with Kelly. Elsewhere, Roy (Matt Craven) meets Cam at the dance, intent on arresting Warren. Cam, however, questions the wisdom of such a move.

Warren, despite his predicament, still longs to attend the dance. As he tries to persuade Rebecca to leave with him, her parents unexpectedly return home. Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey, visibly anxious about their new houseguest, listen intently as Rebecca explains her motives - to offer Warren a helping hand in his loneliness. But the Godfreys are firm - this is their house, and they demand answers. Mr. Godfrey asks if Warren is a suspect in the murder, while Mrs. Godfrey wonders why he's wearing Gabe's suit. Overhearing the tense exchange, Warren decides it's best to make a hasty exit.

Cam and Roy grilled the teenagers at the dance, with Roy on the hunt for Warren, while Cam's eyes were set on Kelly. As Roy tracked down Samara and pulled her aside, his tone was accusatory as he grilled her about her lies and demanded to know what she knew about the fateful night Reena perished.

Samara's confession was shocking. She revealed that Warren had witnessed something sinister on the night of Reena's demise. Warren had confided in her about Kelly's relentless pursuit of Reena and the ultimate horror that unfolded.

Meanwhile, in a getaway car, Kelly was steering Dusty and Josephine towards the ferry. Josephine offered a drink to quench their thirst, but little did she know that the bottle was poisoned. As Dusty queried Kelly about her role in Reena's tragic end, she took a swig from the bottle, immediately succumbing to its toxic effects and vomiting out of the car.

Roy grilled Samara further, seeking clarity on how Reena found herself in the water's clutches. Samara painted a gruesome picture, describing how Kelly coerced Reena to remove her boots before dragging her into the depths. Warren, too, had been an accomplice in this heinous act, according to Samara's account.

Scott's arrival at the Ellard household was timely. He stumbled upon Reena's boots, hidden away in Kelly's closet, a damning piece of evidence. At the dance, Cam's anxiety mounted as she called for reinforcements. Her nerves were frayed further when Rebecca broke the news that Warren was missing and possibly headed to the dance. It was then that the truth dawned on Cam; Rebecca had been harboring Warren.

The trio of fugitives - Kelly, Josephine, and the now-sickly Dusty - found themselves at the train tracks. In a twisted moment, Kelly, seizing on Dusty's guilt, coerced her to lie down on the tracks and await her fate. The weight of her actions heavy on her conscience, Dusty crossed the tracks, resigned to her fate. Josephine, however, snapped out of her stupor and yanked Dusty away from the impending doom of an approaching train.

Warren's unexpected appearance at the dance caused a stir. Samara approached him, warning him of the looming presence of the police. He dismissed her concerns, claiming he'd come to bid farewell. But his farewell was cut short as Cam swooped in, arresting him and leading him away from the festivities. Rebecca's arrival only added fuel to Cam's fiery anger.

In the fugitives' car, Kelly berated Josephine for her failure to carry out Dusty's demise. Suddenly, Roy intervened, pulling the car over and demanding they exit. Cam confronted Rebecca with Samara's revelation that Warren had dragged Reena into the water. Rebecca attempted to justify Warren's actions, claiming it was a mistake. Cam, however, was unmoved, reminding Rebecca that Warren's "mistake" had led to Reena's untimely death. She accused Rebecca of caring more about her book than seeking justice for Reena Virk.

Roy firmly arrested Josephine and Kelly, charging them with their involvement in Reena's death. Scott, meantime, found Dusty and placed her under arrest as well. The night had taken a devastating turn, leaving Reena's family and friends reeling from the revelations and seeking justice for their lost loved one.
