Exciting news for all Adele devotees! It's not the end of the road to catch the enchanting vocalist in Las Vegas for her sensational "Weekends With Adele" residency. The good news is, she's extending her stay once again! On October 20th, the singer of the chart-topping hit "Easy on Me" revealed the final slate of dates for her concerts at the illustrious Colosseum at Caesars Palace. These spellbinding performances will span from January to June 2024, promising an unforgettable musical journey.

Adele, in a heartfelt message shared on X (previously known as Twitter), expressed her gratitude to her loyal fans. She wrote, "This residency, these shows, have been a life-changing experience. I longed to rekindle my passion for live performances, and I have achieved it. I needed to reconnect with my songs and rediscover their meaning to me, and I have done so!"

She continued, "Standing on that stage over the past year, being so close and intimate with the audience after such a hiatus, has been an exceptional and restorative journey that I'll cherish forever. The hilarious, soulful, wild, and heartbreaking interactions we've shared are indelibly etched in my memory. The expressions on your faces, the moments of laughter and tears as you sang your hearts out and hoarded bags of confetti. The adorable simi dolls, friendship bracelets, flowers, video calls, and flags. It's amazing how a show filled with emotional songs can be so joyous! I've felt so much and learned so much about myself and you. It's humanized everything that once scared me. But most importantly, it's made me realize how much I truly love being on stage, how good I am at it, and that it's where I belong, 100%!"

Adele Extends Her Las Vegas Residency:

As she brought her note to a poignant close, Adele penned, "So, let's take this journey one last time before I embark on a forever journey as a showgirl! My heart is with you, and I'll see you on the flipside soon, x."

Previously, on March 26, Adele had revealed an additional 34 dates, spanning from June to November, a musical marathon that promised to captivate fans. Accompanying the official announcement on Instagram, she captioned, "See you soon." The Las Vegas Review-Journal was among the first to break the exciting news, noting that on March 25, which was originally meant to mark the end of Adele's residency show, she revealed plans to record her June performances and release them as a concert special.

Addressing her audience during her Vegas return, the singer confessed, "Playing to 4,000 people for 34 dates just isn't enough, and I know that." She continued, "So, I'm coming back for a few weeks in June, and I'm going to release it to ensure that anyone who desires to witness this show can do so."

The road to Adele's eagerly awaited Vegas residency, which kicked off in November 2022, was fraught with challenges. Fans may recall the singer's heartbreaking announcement just days before she was slated to take the stage in January 2022, postponing the first series of shows. In a tear-filled Instagram video, Adele explained, "I'm devastated — I'm sorry it's so last-minute. We've been up for over 30 hours trying to figure it out, and we've run out of time." Half of her crew had fallen ill with COVID, and supply-chain issues had created insurmountable obstacles in delivering a flawless show. She added, "I'm so upset, embarrassed, and truly apologize to everyone who traveled to be here. I'm really, really sorry."

However, on July 25, 2022, Adele shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, confirming that "Weekends With Adele" had been rescheduled. She wrote, "To share this intimate space with you every week has been what I've been eagerly anticipating, and I promise to give you my absolute best. Thank you for your patience, I love you, Adele."

A month later, Adele candidly opened up about her harrowing experience in an interview with Elle. She revealed, "It was undoubtedly the darkest hour of my professional journey. I had been overjoyed about those concerts, and their cancellation left me devastated." Despite the knowledge that her decision would inevitably wreak havoc on countless fans' travel plans, Adele refused to compromise on the quality of her show. She explained, "There was simply no spark, no soul in it. The stage setup felt off, disconnected from me and my band, lacking the intimacy we strive for. Perhaps I pushed myself too hard to infuse it with those elements in such a controlled setting."

While the postponement undoubtedly marked one of the lowest points in her career, Adele emphasized that it ultimately spurred her growth as an artist, bolstering her confidence. She shared, "The initial few months were incredibly challenging. I felt embarrassed and exposed. But, in hindsight, it was a profoundly courageous move, and I'm proud that I stood by my artistic principles despite the consequences. I'm sure my boyfriend, Rich Paul, was equally proud of my decision."

After enduring so much to perfect her performance, was there ever any doubt that Adele's residency would be nothing short of legendary? Read on to discover how you can secure tickets for the eagerly awaited 2024 dates.
