The charismatic singer behind the hit "Good Luck, Babe!" has opened up about her growing concerns surrounding the conduct of some of her ardent followers. Chappell Roan, in a heartfelt revelation, divulged why she's actively navigating to avoid soaring to even greater heights of fame, at least for the foreseeable future.

The spotlight has shone brightly on this talented artist this year, yet amidst the glory, Roan recently confided in the Comment Section podcast, sharing that she's begun to feel a sense of unease due to certain behaviors exhibited by her fans. These actions have prompted her to contemplate putting the brakes on her fame trajectory.

"People have transformed into something else – they're stalking me, knowing the whereabouts of my parents' home and even where my sister toils," Roan disclosed to host Drew Afualo with a hint of distress. "It's reached a point where, years ago, I vowed that if I sensed any stalker-like tendencies or if my family's safety was compromised, I would step back. And here we are, facing that very crossroads!"

Rising to fame as the opening act for Olivia Rodrigo's sensational Guts World Tour and captivating audiences at Coachella and Governors Ball earlier this year, Roan's star has soared. Her debut album, 'The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess,' has graced the prestigious top 10 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, further cementing her place in the music industry.

"I find myself in this precarious battle, where honestly, I've deliberately slowed down any endeavors that would further propel my popularity," Roan admitted candidly. "It's akin to a raging forest fire, and I'm cautious not to fan the flames any further."

Celebrities grappling with unwanted encounters and behaviors from fans is not a novel tale. Taylor Swift, Keanu Reeves, Madonna, Rihanna, Jamie Dornan, and Drew Barrymore are just a few of the A-listers who have had their fair share of run-ins with stalkers, highlighting the complexities that come with fame.
