According to a death certificate disclosed by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and acquired by TMZ, the beloved actor succumbed to cardiac arrest. This certificate further highlighted congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, and hypertension as the underlying conditions that ultimately led to Wendt's passing, while kidney failure and high cholesterol served as significant contributing factors.
