Sarahbeth Taite and her spouse, Colby Shaw, have joyfully expanded their family! The 27-year-old country music sensation welcomed a baby girl with Shaw, 33, on Thursday, January 16th, as confirmed by their representative to PEOPLE magazine. Prior to the arrival of their new bundle of joy, Taite shared an enchanting Reel, capturing the final touches she bestowed upon the nursery, adorned with the text, "finishing the nursery on my last day of pregnancy." Alongside the video, she penned, "See you tomorrow baby girl," brimming with anticipation.
In July 2024, the couple's representative exclusively revealed to PEOPLE that they were expecting another miracle. This new little princess joins their daughter Isla, who arrived in October 2022, making their family even more delightful.
"Here we go again!" exclaimed Taite to PEOPLE. "I can scarcely believe we get to introduce another tiny soul into this world." She further gushed, "Colby and I are over the moon at the prospect of watching Isla transform into a big sister and envisioning these two darlings growing up side by side. Gratitude barely scratches the surface of how we feel!"
Imbued with uncontainable excitement, Taite poured her heart into her artistry. In May 2024, she unleashed her single titled "Diamond and a Baby," accompanied by a music video that celebrated the ecstasies of motherhood. For this endeavor, she collaborated with the three-time Grammy Award-winning producer Nathan Chapman, who has previously worked with Taylor Swift, and songwriter Parker Welling.
"Filming this video marked my first return to a 'set' since embracing motherhood," Taite shared in an email statement to PEOPLE in March 2024. "My husband brought our daughter Isla [then a nine-month-old] to be a part of the video during her nap breaks, and we managed to pull through the day without any tantrums or chaos!"
"I am deeply aware of how fortunate I am to pursue both of my dreams—nurturing a family and serenading life's realities," she continued. "'Diamond and a Baby' embodies the harmonious convergence of these two worlds for me."
