Glenn Close opened up about her unique encounter with Kim Kardashian, painting a vivid picture of a pajama party hosted by Kris Jenner. The 78-year-old Hollywood veteran revealed, "We all donned our cozy Skims pajamas," alluding to the renowned fashion line helmed by the 44-year-old reality TV star.
"Arriving at her mother's abode, I was clad in my pajamas and wrapped in a plush bathrobe," Close elaborated. "We indulged in delightful martinis, creating an atmosphere of pure fun," she added, during her conversation with Us Weekly on April 5th, while attending the prestigious Breakthrough Prize ceremony.
Their friendship blossomed as they collaborated on the forthcoming legal drama, All's Fair. Starring Kardashian, Close, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash, and Teyana Taylor, the TV series is a Ryan Murphy creation.
Heaping praise on Kardashian, Close expressed, "Getting to know her has been a delight. I mean, I genuinely admire her. Sure, she has a certain public persona, but off-camera, as a person, as a woman, she left me deeply impressed."
She further elaborated on her admiration for how the reality star navigates her multifaceted life, saying, "Firstly, she's incredibly professional. Moreover, she possesses an extraordinary ability to balance her various responsibilities seamlessly. One moment, she's chatting with her kids; the next, she's poring over law books for an exam, then diving into a Skims board meeting, and subsequently, striding confidently onto the set."
This revelation follows Kardashian's admission of being incredibly nervous about working alongside Close prior to the shoot.
