Released by Off-White, the official images showcase Harris in a stunning black-and-cream gown, masterfully designed by the house's creative director, IB Kamara. In these captivating snapshots, Harris stands majestically in her regal attire, exuding elegance and grace. She is also seen warmly greeting Kamara and posing with the designer and her husband, Doug Emhoff, creating a memorable moment that captures the essence of the evening.

Kamara shared his inspiration behind the dress, a breathtaking black and cream cady silk gown adorned with a silk scarf and dramatic sleeves. "The meticulous simplicity of this black and cream ensemble for Kamala D. Harris perfectly mirrors her own strength and confidence—qualities that I view as the very essence of dandyism," explained Kamara.

The Met Gala functions as the Metropolitan Museum of Art's prestigious annual fundraiser. This year's edition celebrates the Costume Institute's spring fashion exhibition, titled "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," which draws inspiration from Monica L. Miller's seminal 2009 book, "Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity." Guests and stylists were given the theme "Tailored for you" as a creative guide to interpret the dress code. Joining Vogue's Anna Wintour as co-chairs for 2025 are Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, and Pharrell Williams, along with honorary chair LeBron James, who unfortunately had to withdraw at the last minute due to a knee injury.
