Lindsay Lohan is embracing the art of "carving out moments for herself to unwind." The 38-year-old actress, who is currently experiencing a resurgent career and cherishing her family life, reflects fondly on how her life as a child star was a whirlwind of activity. In an interview with E! News, she shared, "I'm feeling fabulous, truly content, and passionate about my work. In my younger days, everything seemed to happen in the blink of an eye." She continued, "Now, as an older and wiser individual, I've discovered the joy of taking personal time to relax. When I'm at work, I give it my all. Similarly, when I'm with my son or husband, I want to be fully present for them. It's about balancing all facets of my life harmoniously."
The 'Freaky Friday' star, who shares a two-year-old son, Luai, with her husband Bader Shammas, also revealed her favorite ways to unwind during her evening downtime. "A massage is pure bliss," she enthused. "One evening, I simply told my husband, 'We're booking couple massages; it's non-negotiable, it's happening!'" She added, "Snuggling with my son before bedtime brings me immense relaxation. Holding him close lets me savor these precious moments."
Lindsay remains busy and is relishing what some have termed the 'Lohannaissance.' Despite this, she harbors ambitious career aspirations. She elaborated, "Someday, I have a deep desire to direct. It's firmly etched on my bucket list. I've grown up amidst film sets, absorbing wisdom from directors and colleagues. It's uncertain when, but it will happen someday!"
However, last month, Lindsay emphasized that she will only pursue projects that align with her family life. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, she said, "Every decision I make revolves around what benefits my family. If a project fits into that equation, it's meant to be. If not, it's a resounding no."
