A confidential source revealed to PEOPLE that despite splitting before welcoming their daughter in March, the ex-pair is embracing their shared journey of parenting with immense joy and has no immediate plans for any significant life alterations in the coming months.
"Megan and MGK are absolutely reveling in this cherished moment with their baby girl," shared the insider with PEOPLE. "They're putting the brakes on making any grand decisions about their future as a couple, choosing instead to immerse themselves in the present and cherish this fresh start as united parents to their daughter."
"Their bond is flourishing, and while they're uncertain about what the future may hold, they're thriving in the now," they added.
Another source close to Fox told PEOPLE that while the former couple is finding a harmonious rhythm as co-parents, the actress hasn't hinted at any reconciliation with her musician ex. "She's in a great space, basking in the glow of her newborn," they remarked. "Colson is around frequently, and Megan seems genuinely content with him. However, she hasn't broached the subject of rekindling their romance."
"Pregnancy was tough on her, especially with the lack of trust in her partner," the source continued. "Their focus now is solely on their little girl."
Fox, who is also mother to sons Journey, 8, Bodhi, 11, and Noah, 12, from her marriage to Brian Austin Green, now embraces her role as a mother of four. Kelly, too, is a father to his 15-year-old daughter, Casie Colson, from his previous relationship with Emma Cannon.

In March, the Jennifer's Body actress welcomed her fourth child, a girl, her first with Kelly. The musician announced the joyous news on his Instagram, sharing a heartwarming video of him holding his daughter's tiny hand, gently brushing her fingers.
