On Saturday evening, Taylor Swift brought her Eras Tour to a triumphant close in Tokyo, with her fourth and final show leaving fans in awe. Mere hours later, she embarked on a journey back to the U.S., her heart set on an even grander event: the Super Bowl. Arriving in Las Vegas on Sunday afternoon, just a fleeting three hours before kickoff, Ian Rapaport announced her arrival on NFL GameDay Morning, exclaiming, "She has made it!"

Her presence at the NFL championship game was eagerly anticipated, especially given her romantic link with Kansas City Chiefs' tight end Travis Kelce. Swift's final performance in Tokyo marked the end of her Japanese tour, less than a day before the game's commencement in Las Vegas. On Sunday, the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas will host Super Bowl LVIII, where the Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the San Francisco 49ers. Last week, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell lauded Swift for her unwavering support of Kelce and the league, stating, "Both Travis and Taylor are remarkable individuals. They exude joy and happiness. She understands the essence of entertainment, and that's why she loves NFL football."

In Tokyo, Swift delighted fans with four consecutive shows, kicking off her 2024 performances with a bang. During Friday's concert, she narrowly avoided a fall while walking atop her onstage cabin during the folklore segment. Afterward, she humorously quipped to the audience, "I almost took a tumble off the folklore cabin, but I persevered. It was a life-flashing-before-my-eyes moment, but I'm here to tell you, I'm good! It's all good. Everything is fantastic! I'm just glad I didn't fall off that cabin. This was a truly unforgettable night in Tokyo!"

Ahead of her Tokyo debut, the Japanese Embassy offered its own words of encouragement, acknowledging the singer's hectic schedule. "We are aware of the challenges Taylor Swift faces in traveling from Tokyo to Las Vegas after her concert on February 10th," the statement read. "Despite the lengthy flight and significant time difference, we are confident that if she departs Tokyo in the evening, she will arrive in Las Vegas well before the Super Bowl begins. We understand the excitement surrounding Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Japan, and we want to reassure everyone that this talented performer can captivate Japanese audiences and still make it to Las Vegas to cheer on the Chiefs in their Super Bowl appearance."

As soon as her final show ended on Saturday night, Swift expressed her gratitude to her fans on Instagram. "Those four shows at Tokyo Dome were truly magical," she wrote. "I've missed you all so dearly and relished being on stage again, surrounded by my fellow performers and band members. Thank you to everyone in and around Tokyo, and to those who traveled far and wide to be with us."
