The film revolves around Jack, portrayed by Standen, who embarks on a fresh journey as a logger, seeking refuge from his troubled past. However, the tranquility of his newfound life is soon shattered by the discovery of a vengeful criminal gang hell-bent on eliminating him. In a bone-chilling scene from the trailer, Baldwin gravely warns Jack, "Logging is the deadliest profession in the world. Are you sure you're ready for this?" Later, Baldwin casts doubt on Jack's abilities, reminding him, "I once had a rookie like you. Couldn't last a day without making a mess."

With a script penned by Joe Perruccio and Skiba's adept direction, the film boasts a stellar ensemble including Lucy Martin, Jesse Metcalfe, and Tom Welling. Executive producers Eric Bromberg, Ram Getz, Greg Meyer, Nick Mao, Michael Mortensen, Jordan Wayne Nott, Matthew Helderman, Luke Taylor, Tyler Gould, Kirk Shaw, and Stephanie Rennie have all lent their support to this gripping production.

Despite recent challenges, including his involuntary manslaughter trial stemming from the tragic "Rust" set incident, Baldwin remains resilient in the film industry, demonstrating his versatility in low-budget projects like "97 Minutes" and "Supercell" in 2023. "Clear Cut" promises to be another testament to his acting prowess, as he embodies a dark and menacing character in this heart-stopping thriller.
