Walter Hamada is spearheading the production under his 18Hz banner alongside Gary Dauberman and his Coin Operated label. Ovredal's last venture, 'The Last Voyage of the Demeter,' explored the Dracula mythos from a unique perspective, and he is renowned for his collaborations such as Guillermo del Toro's 'Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.'

'Passenger' currently enjoys a solo slot on May 29th, though it will be surrounded by the likes of Disney and Lucasfilm's 'Mandalorian & Grogu' (May 22nd) and 'Masters of the Universe' (June 5th). Meanwhile, Paramount and producer Hamada are gearing up to unleash 'Primate,' a January 9th horror feature that delves into the disastrous consequences of keeping a pet chimpanzee.
