Charlize Theron Joins Christopher Nolan’s Latest Movie 1

Nolan, who penned the script and is helming the project, has partnered with Universal for its distribution. The studio has marked July 17, 2026, as the much-anticipated release date. The plot, shrouded in mystery, promises to unfold with Nolan's signature intrigue. Nolan is producing the film under his Syncopy banner, alongside his producing partner and spouse, Emma Thomas.

Whispers from industry insiders reveal that Damon, Holland, Hathaway, and Pattinson form the film's central quartet, while Nyong'o and Zendaya are rumored to play pivotal supporting roles. This new venture marks Nolan's reunion with the studio that brought his epic drama Oppenheimer to life, which amassed a staggering $976 million worldwide and garnered the Oscar for Best Picture. Oppenheimer marked Nolan's inaugural collaboration with Universal, forged after his public severance with Warner Bros., his long-time home, in late 2020. While Oppenheimer was acquired by Universal in a competitive auction, this new endeavor reportedly went straight to the studio.

Theron, represented by CAA and Hansen Jacobson, was last seen in the thrilling Fast X and is gearing up for her next appearance in the sequel to Netflix's The Old Guard.
