Daniel Craig gets honest about 'Knives Out' 4

As the highly anticipated Knives Out 3 nears its release, Daniel Craig, who portrays the enigmatic detective Benoit Blanc, has been inquired about the possibility of a fourth installment. His director Rian Johnson, in an exclusive chat with GoldDerby, shares, "I don't really view it as a trilogy." With a nod from Daniel, who adds, "I suppose because there's three of them," the filmmaker chimes in, "Oh yeah, that's right!" before Craig shares his take: "I don't see it as a trilogy either. Maybe that's up to you guys. But the civil answer is that if we can keep each other on our toes, then we'll make another one."

Elsewhere in the interview, the director-duo reflects on the evolution of their partnership since the first movie in 2019. Rian shares, "It's become more of a partnership. With the first movie, we just met and dove in. Collaborating has been one of the true joys of it." Daniel concludes with a chuckle, "The thing is, we didn't make the first movie thinking we were going to make two more! We're both old enough to realize that ain't the way it works. For everyone involved, it was a wonderful surprise the way audiences reacted to the first one. That presents itself with, 'Now you've got to make another one.' That's a high class problem, but it's still a problem."

With Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery hitting the big screens today, the excitement for more Blanc adventures is palpable.
