Paramount has unveiled the first teaser for "Hit Me Hard And Soft," a groundbreaking 3D concert film co-directed by Billie Eilish and none other than James Cameron. Set to premiere on March 20, 2026, this cinematic endeavor promises to be an "innovative new concert experience" that captures Eilish's latest global tour in all its splendor.
In the trailering footage, Cameron exclaims, "No one has ever attempted a concert film on this scale before," highlighting the unprecedented technological advancements used in its production. He also delves into Eilish's emotional journey during the tour, hinting that the film will delve deeper than your typical tour documentary, offering a more intimate and emotional look into the artist's world.

Produced by Lightstorm Earth, Darkroom Records, and Interscope Films, this release marks Eilish's most ambitious theatrical push yet. Her previous concert film, "Live at the O2" (2023), was limited in scope, but this time around, she's aiming for IMAX screens, large formats, and a wide release, hoping to match the box office success of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour film.
Paramount's foray into concert films has been scarce in recent years; their last major entry was 2011's "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never," which opened to $29.5M and ended its run with $73M domestically and nearly $100M worldwide. The timing of this trailer's release coincides with Cameron's December 19 release of "Avatar: Fire and Ash," which will undoubtedly draw attention to Eilish's film.
"Hit Me Hard And Soft" is Eilish's third studio album and is worth noting that at the 67th Grammys, it garnered seven nominations, including Album of the Year and Record of the Year. And for the upcoming 68th Grammys on February 1, 2026, the single "Wildflower" is nominated for both Record and Song of the Year.
