This is not to be confused with Ethan Hawke's earlier film of the same name, but rather the rebranded Lioness (presumably due to the ongoing Lioness series). While I must admit the trailer didn't blow me away at first glance, the premise of an ex-black ops team banding together for one last mission to save an 8-year-old girl amidst chaos is enough to pique my interest. Directed by the British action mastermind James Nunn, whose credits also include Tower Block, Eliminators, and the aforementioned films, Wildcat (formerly known as Lioness) is a testament to his mastery of high-stakes thrills. The screenplay is penned by Dominic Burns, and produced by Crawford Anderson-Dillon, Dominic Burns, James Harris, and Mark Lane. Aura Ent. is set to debut James Nunn's Wildcat in theaters and on VOD starting on November 25th, 2025, this fall.
