Touted as "a rousing and heart-stirring tale revolving around a high school dance duo," "Victory" showcases the extraordinary journey of cheerleaders who not only uplift an underperforming school soccer team but also inspire the entire remote Korean island village they call home. Helmed by the talented director Park Beom-su, renowned for his works in "Single in Seoul" and "Red Carpet," the film graced the opening night of the recent New York Asian Film Festival, where one of its shining stars, Lee Hye-ri, was hailed with the prestigious Screen International Rising Star Asia Award.

Beyond North America, Finecut has meticulously orchestrated deals spanning Asia, ensuring "Victory's" reach extends to Taiwan (via Sky Films Entertainment), Vietnam (Lumix Media), Indonesia (PT Prima Cinema Multimedia), Thailand (House of M), in-flight entertainment platforms (Emphasis Video Entertainment), and Cambodia (Westec Media Limited).

Slated for an August 16th premiere in North America, closely following its August 14th South Korean debut, Finecut divulges that the remaining Asian releases will gracefully unfold throughout August and September.

Rounding out the captivating cast are: Park Se-wan (of "Life is Beautiful"), portraying the other half of the dynamic dance duo; Cho A-ram (from TV series "Thank You"), essaying a former Seoul cheerleader who relocates to the village; and Lee Jung Ha (a standout in Disney+'s "Moving"), embodying the role of a perennially defeated school soccer team's resilient goalkeeper.

Produced by Korea's Annapurna Films, led by the accomplished producer Lee Anna (behind box office triumphs like "Sunny" and "Scandal Makers"), "Victory" is proudly presented by Mindmark, a content IP giant under the Shinsegae Group umbrella. Mindmark's illustrious portfolio as both financier and Korean distributor includes acclaimed titles such as "Brave Citizen," "Love Reset," "Honey Sweet," and more recently, Hur Jin-ho's "A Normal Family" and "Boss," underscoring its commitment to fostering innovative and inspiring storytelling.
