Set to make its debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, "Honey Don’t!" revolves around Honey O'Donahue (Qualley), a private investigator from a quaint town who delves into a series of deaths linked to a mysterious church. Coen masterfully helmed the film from a script he co-wrote with his wife, Tricia Cooke, marking another collaborative effort following their 2024 crime comedy "Drive-Away Dolls," which also starred Qualley alongside Geraldine Viswanathan and Pedro Pascal.

Joining Coen and Cooke as producers for "Honey Don’t!" are Robert Graf, Tim Bevan, and Eric Fellner. On the same release date, August 22nd, moviegoers will also have the option to catch Lionsgate's "Americana," starring Sydney Sweeney and Paul Walter Hauser, as well as Vertical's Ron Howard-directed "Eden."

Qualley, who recently garnered a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in last year's "The Substance," will also be seen in Netflix's upcoming summer comedy "Happy Gilmore 2." Plaza has appeared in 2024's "My Old Ass" and "Megalopolis," and will lend her voice to the animated film "Animal Friends" this fall. Evans, who previously starred opposite Dwayne Johnson in Amazon's holiday film "Red One," will next appear in A24's summer release "Materialists," alongside Pascal and Dakota Johnson.

Ethan Coen is renowned for his collaborations with his brother Joel Coen, having won Oscars together for their work on "Fargo" and "No Country for Old Men." Qualley is represented by CAA and Sloane Offer, Plaza by CAA, MGMT Entertainment, and Schreck Rose, Evans by CAA and Sloane Offer, and Coen and Cooke by UTA.

With such a stellar cast and crew, "Honey Don’t!" is poised to be a standout film of the summer, delivering laughter, intrigue, and an unforgettable journey into the depths of small-town mysteries.
