In a swift and preemptive maneuver, Solipsist Films has secured the cinematic rights to "Top Secret Service," an impending action-comedy comic book penned by the talented Zack Keller and brought to life through the illustrations of Giovanna La Pietra. This high-octane comic, which echoes the thrilling spirits of "Midnight Run" and "48 Hrs.," also weaves in the political intrigue reminiscent of "Air Force One." The film aims to cast a duo of young actors alongside a seasoned thespian portraying the President of the United States.

According to the tantalizing logline, "When a crack kill team descends upon a secluded ranch in Montana, two inexperienced Secret Service agents find themselves tasked with safeguarding a retired president. Little do they know, he harbors the final living connection to a decades-long conspiracy surrounding alien contact and holds the crucial key to unlocking perilous extraterrestrial technology that was never meant for human eyes."

Keller, who will pen the screenplay, collaborates with Solipsist's Stephen L'Heureux as producer. L'Heureux, renowned for his work on "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For," is also steering the Universal Pictures' "Kung Fu" movie, with Donnie Yen attached in a starring role. Keller's diverse portfolio spans the comic series "Cuphead," the "The Walking Dead" video games, and Disney's beloved "DuckTales," while La Pietra is acclaimed for her contributions to titles like "Red Sonja."

As for "Top Secret Service," its eagerly anticipated publication plan is set to be unveiled this autumn at the prestigious New York Comic Con.
