In "Popeye the Slayer Man," a daring group of friends ventures into an abandoned spinach canning factory to capture a documentary on the haunting legend of the "Sailor Man," rumored to lurk within its shadowy corridors. Producer Jeff Miller teases excitedly, "The audience is in for a blood-curdling, terrifying ride with this gory Popeye rendition. We embraced old-school techniques, prioritizing real, practical effects over computer-generated gore. Talks with eagerly anticipating buyers are already underway."

Starring Sean Michael Conway, Elena Juliano, Mabel Thomas, Marie-Louise Boisnier, Jeff Thomas, and Steven McCormack, alongside Angela Relucio (from "Code Black" and "The Cabining") and Sarah Nicklin (featured in "Nun of That" and "The Black Mass"), "Popeye the Slayer Man" features Jason Stephens as the menacing Popeye himself. Robert Michael Ryan ("Ouija Witch") directs the film from a chilling screenplay penned by John Doolan ("Remains"). Jeff Miller ("The Toybox"), Cuyle Carvin ("Ouija Witch"), and Robert Michael Ryan also lent their creative minds to the narrative.

Producing the film alongside Miller, Carvin, and Ryan are Alexander Tucker, Nathan Todaro, and Alysa Blasetti. Korey Rowe served as the Director of Photography, while R.J. Young supervised the special makeup effects, ensuring each grim detail was brought to life. Filmed in the eerie landscapes of New York State, "Popeye the Slayer Man" is a collaborative effort between Salem House Films, Millman Productions, Ron Lee Productions, and Otsego Media.

Prepare yourself for an unsettling journey into the depths of horror, as "Popeye the Slayer Man" readies to slash its way onto screens next year.
