Jesse Eisenberg's thrilling heist franchise has enchanted audiences worldwide, with the latest installment, "Now You See Me: Now You Don't," surpassing the $100 million mark at the box office. Even before the Horsemen and their new crew could soar to new heights, Lionsgate made a grand announcement greenlighting the fourth chapter in this thrilling series. Producer Bobby Cohen has teased fans with a glimpse into what to expect from the sequel.

Now You See Me 4 Confirmed to

"We're taking a moment to reset things a bit," Cohen tells The Direct. "One of the big things is that by the end of this movie, for reasons that will be revealed to all in the audience, the Horsemen can operate in the open again. They don't necessarily have to be on the run."

He continues, "If you think about it, giving these characters an opportunity to perform in front of large crowds in broad daylight, and having the crowds thrilled not just by their Robin Hood-like motivations and their crime-fighting skills, but by their incredible performances as well—returning to that rock and roll super band and putting on a spectacular show—is truly exciting."

To be honest, this reset promises a fresh makeover for the franchise after three years of operating within the same heist narrative. It will be fascinating to see how the film, expected to revolve around yet another master plan from The Eye, incorporates Cohen's vision of characters performing in "open sunlight" and "putting on a great show," given that it has always been about exposing corrupt entities.

With no confirmed release date yet, Cohen mentioned that "Now You See Me 4" will arrive sooner than fans might expect, given that the third part took nearly a decade to come to fruition. "I will say not as long, so we'll start there," he added. "Now You See Me 3" is still playing in theaters near you.
