Helmed by TV director Minkie Spiro, this compelling new series is poised to make its streaming debut on Netflix later this month.

Based on a true story, "Toxic Town" narrates the valiant struggle of a cohort of mothers seeking justice amidst one of the grimmest toxic waste scandals in British history. The tragic saga unfolds in the East Midlands, where it was revealed that the rates of upper limb defects among infants born in Corby were an alarming three times higher than those of children born elsewhere. This revelation strikes fear into the hearts of many.

Produced by Broke & Bones and penned by the multi-award-winning writer Jack Thorne, "Toxic Town" is a four-part limited series that promises to chill viewers to the bone. The series stars Jodie Whittaker as Susan McIntyre, alongside an ensemble cast that includes Aimee Lou Wood, Rory Kinnear, Robert Carlyle, Brendan Coyle, Claudia Jessie, Joe Dempsie, Ben Batt, Lauren Lyle, Michael Socha, Stephen McMillan, Karla Crome, Matthew Durkan, Kobi Sadler, and Toby Eden. As the characters grapple with the harrowing reality of the situation and uncover its harrowing cause, they find it an uphill battle to halt its continued devastation.
