Directed by Campbell (known for his work on "Dracula"), "Cold Storage" is adapted from David Koepp's ("Jurassic Park," "Mission: Impossible") debut novel, with Koepp himself taking on the role of producer alongside Gavin Polone, who has brought us hits like "Zombieland" and "Panic Room." The screenplay, penned by Koepp, weaves a tale of chaos and heroism.

The narrative follows Teacake (Keery) and Naomi (Campbell), two youthful employees of a self-storage facility situated on the remnants of an ancient US military base. Their mundane night shift takes a dramatic turn when a parasitic fungus, long sealed by the government in the base's deepest sublevel, escapes. As temperatures soar beneath the surface, this highly contagious and rapidly mutating microorganism multiplies, unleashing its horrifying brain-controlling, body-bursting terror upon the facility's inhabitants – both human and otherwise.

Teacake and Naomi, aided by a battle-hardened retired bioterror operative played by Neeson, must rise to the occasion to contain the threat and prevent the potential extinction of mankind. Samuel Goldwyn Films has ambitious plans for a wide theatrical release of "Cold Storage" later this year.

The deal was skillfully negotiated by Miles Fineburg of Samuel Goldwyn Films, alongside Chloe Marquet, head of international sales, Charlotte Lopez, SVP of international sales, and Sophie Leuthreau, head of business and legal affairs international distribution, all representing Studiocanal.
