Scary Full Trailer for 'Dangerous Animals' Serial Killer + Sharks Thriller 1

When Zephyr, a perceptive and uninhibited surfer with a spirit as wild as the waves she rides, is kidnapped by a deranged serial killer fixated on sharks and imprisoned aboard his boat, she finds herself in a harrowing race against time to devise an escape plan before she becomes the next victim in his grotesque ritualistic feeding to the sharks lurking beneath. Starring Jai Courtney as the malevolent killer and Hassie Harrison as the resourceful Zephyr, with additional notable performances by Josh Heuston and Ella Newton, "Dangerous Animals" promises an edge-of-your-seat narrative.

Stranded on a murderer's boat, with ravenous sharks circling like voracious vultures below, Zephyr must outmaneuver a predator far more terrifying than the depths of the ocean itself. Will she triumphantly break free, or succumb to a fate worse than the ocean's relentless embrace? Sean Byrne, the Tasmanian genre maven, returns with his third feature-length foray into the realm of the macabre, poised to thrill and disturb audiences this June.

Is the enigmatic killer training these sharks to become his sinister accomplices, or is he merely sacrificing innocents to their insatiable appetites? What dark designs does this madman harbor aboard his rust-laden vessel? As Zephyr, portrayed with fierce determination by Hassie Harrison, battles against insurmountable odds, the tension mounts with each passing moment.

Directed by Sean Byrne, whose directorial prowess has previously captivated audiences with "The Loved Ones" and "The Devil's Candy," alongside numerous acclaimed short films, "Dangerous Animals" boasts a screenplay penned by Nick Lepard, who also contributed to this year's "Keeper." Produced by an esteemed ensemble including Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Chris Ferguson, Mickey Liddell, Troy Lum, Andrew Mason, and Pete Shilaimon, the film will make its grand debut at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, kickstarting the festival's excitement.

IFC Films will subsequently introduce Byrne's chilling "Dangerous Animals" to select US theaters beginning June 6th, 2025, amidst the summer movie season's blockbuster frenzy. Are you brave enough to witness this harrowing tale unfold?
