"As I was thinking about this movie and what I needed the music to be, I wanted it to have a classical inspiration," continued the filmmaker. "But it's not going to be a remix of John Williams' cues. It may be inspired by some of that, but I knew I needed a big-hearted movie score from a composer who doesn't shy away from themes, like John Williams."

Shawn went on to share, "I called up Tom Newman. I'm a fan, and I said, 'Hey, it's Shawn Levy. Would you ever consider...?' And he said, 'Send me the script and describe your vision.' And I did both those things, and he said yes." The director's enthusiasm was palpable as he added, "I'm so stoked... I'm so excited about it."
