"From this moment on, your life is under my control." Imagine if they were watching your every move through your own eyes. Peacock unveiled the official trailer for a sci-fi thriller streaming series titled "The Copenhagen Test," set to premiere on Peacock at the end of December, just before the New Year. A first-generation Chinese-American analyst suddenly discovers that his brain has been hacked, granting access to his senses and vision like a "wifi signal in his head" broadcasting to a secret organization or criminal syndicate. Caught between his agency and the hackers, he must act as if nothing is wrong, all while trying to uncover the culprits and determine who is tracing him.

Simu Liu stars as Alexander Hale, with Melissa Barrera, Sinclair Daniel, Brian d'Arcy James, Mark O'Brien, and Kathleen Chalfant; along with Saul Rubinek and Hannah Cruz. This thriller reminds us of the movie "Source Code," with its focus on the Copenhagen Interpretation, a foundational understanding of quantum mechanics stating that particles lack definite properties until measured, existing in "superpositions." While intriguing, it does have a hint of TV show cheesiness that may not be to everyone's taste.

"The Copenhagen Test" is a series created and written by Thomas Brandon, known primarily for his work on The CW series "Legacies." The writing team includes Adam Benic, Jamie Chan, Marilyn Fu, Hannah Rosner, and Thomas Brandon. The episodes are directed by Nima Nourizadeh, Kevin Tancharoen, and Jet Wilkinson. The show is run by Thomas Brandon and Jennifer Yale, with executive production by Thomas Brandon, Jennifer Yale, James Wan, Michael Clear, Rob Hackett, Mark Winemaker, Jet Wilkinson, and Simu Liu.

"The Copenhagen Test" will debut on NBC's Peacock streaming platform on December 27th, 2025. Who's excited? Is it worth a watch?
