Korean actress Hoyeon is set to co-star alongside Theo James in the thrilling film "The Hole," directed by Kim Jee-woon. This indie flick centers on Owen, portrayed by James, a prosperous professor residing in South Korea who finds himself confined to bed following a catastrophic car accident that takes the life of his wife, Sandy (played by Hoyeon). Owen's Korean mother-in-law, Yuna, takes charge of his care, but as she delves deeper, she uncovers secrets about Owen and Sandy's marriage, posing a grave threat to his recovery process.
Hoyeon made her unforgettable acting debut in the inaugural season of Netflix's hit series "Squid Game." She has also graced the screen in Alfonso Cuarón's psychological thriller "Disclaimer" for Apple TV+. Additionally, Hoyeon is soon to star in Na Hong-jin's "Hope," sharing the screen with Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender.
